So once we got our passes all sorted out we headed for the bus. As you can see from these pictures not many people were headed back to the resorts. By the time we would leave everyday, which was anywhere between noon and 1pm, the parks were really starting to fill up. Getting up early was well worth it for a virtually empty park and no ride lines.....and what can I say about the pool and drinks by the pool...that's right pure heaven.
Jasmine doing what she did best this trip, suntan.
Enjoying a laugh with her auntie in the pool.
We spent about an hour at the pool then headed back up to the room for the standard sleep, shower, and back out the door for dinner. We had a 715pm ADR for Coral Reef this evening so we all decided we would be ready to head for the bus at 6:00pm. Much to our surprise again, we just walked up to the bus stop and our bus pulled up...we were beginning to get used to this bus service. We made our way around the resort picking up and dropping off and when the lady across from Jasmine and I got up to leave, she came over to me and said "Your rings are the most spectacular things I have ever seen, especially this one, the other one is gorgeous too, but this one is unbelieveable" I thanked her for her kind words and then Jasmine, Geodoc and I had the biggest laugh and wished at that moment Peg wasn't sitting at the front of the bus. See, the rings cost under $30 each....I bought them from The Shopping Channel and I get more compliments on them than my real ones. Too funny, Jasmine said that just made your day didn't it....I said you don't need to spend alot to look good honey!!!
We made it to the park by 630pm so Geodoc suggested since we were so early that we go on Spaceship Earth...sounded like a plan to me. I really do love that ride, but I do miss Jeremy Irons voice.
Once we all had our fill of SE, we then proceeded to Coral Reef for dinner.
Couldn't resist this shot, it really was a peaceful as it seems.
Our three young ladies outside the restaurant. Now, see the skirt Jasmine is wearing, I need to share a funny story with you. When she bought this skirt, I suggested, in what I thought was a nice way, that maybe it was a little too short. Oh course, I was a dork and didn't know anything, she never said this, but I got the LOOK. Ok fine, yup everyone's wearing them blah blah blah...fine, but you're buying it with your own money.
So there we are on SE and you know at the end when they put the black light on and if you're wearing anything white it glows....well Jasmine taps my arm and yup....her white panties are showing and glowing....I lost it. I said so now do you think the skirt is too short....hasn't worn it since. Couldn't wait to get off the ride and tell Peg.
Entryway to Coral Reef
Another shot of the corridor down to the restaurant, we were the only family checking in, but let me tell you, when we left you could hardly get through all the people waiting, it was jam packed
For some reason Jasmine loved these glass fish and asked me to take a picture of them...I think it was the only thing she asked me to take a picture of
Jasmine and me waiting for our dinner...one of my favorite pictures of the entire trip.
Jasmine and her sidekick...they were never far from each other, poor SW needs to battle for Jasmine time, poor thing
MM and her megaberry smoothie....I love the look on her face here.
My NY strip steak. It was so yummy, just as good as I remember. I know many people have written that the food here is terrible, but we have never had a bad experience here...food wise. However, this trip, we had a terrible server. His name was Jose and I'm not sure what the problem was, but he was awful. Unfriendly, short when speaking to us, a problem if we asked for anything....I was so disappointed as you know, a server can make a break your meal.
Jasmine had the lasagne and she ate it but didn't like it...she's a bit of a fussy eater.
Jasmine didn't have dessert but I had the almond gelatto, it was so good and refreshing.
After dinner we were pretty much done for the night so to the bus stop we went. \
