Just catching up after the long weekend at the cottage.

I love the excitment you feel on arrival day. You can see the sparkle in your eyes.

Haven't been to Raglan road but have wanted to go. It looks great.

Hope the girls all have a good first day back at school.

I imagine MM attached to Jasmine was a foreshadowing of Thomas being attached to Jasmine when you got home.

Hope you had as nice of weekend there as we did here. Apparently the weather was horrid while we were in FL, but the long weekend was sunny and 28 all three days...perfect

Yes, Thomas hasn't been far away since we got home. He took two days off after we got home and I think he went home both nights at midnight and was back by 9am....too funny.

My plan is to update in the next day or two. Snow White starts school on Wed, I have to take Jasmine school supply shopping tomorrow(our last year) Mini Montana had her 5th birthday while Queen and Jasmine were away. So that means she starts Kindergarten this year
I am soo very sad about this, my baby! She told me today I have to get used to being on my own now that she and Snow White will be at school and Geodoc will be at work Then later she told me I was the best mom ever and I said you're the best kid and her reply...."I know!" All Queen!

Jasmine passed her driver's test and now has her licenseSo Geodoc says to her "there's this line from a movie Jasmine, 'with great power comes great responsibility' so have fun but drive safe!" I asked her about it later and she says , "yeah I told Thomas he said some Star Wars thing" and Thomas said to her "it's not Star Wars it's Spiderman", her reply?..."yeah whatever!"
We have been trying to enjoy the last few days of summer holidays now that summer has actually arrived in Manitoba so forgive me for not being on the computer! I know Mini Montana will love school, she's so smart, just like her big sister. She's counting down the sleeps until she goes and I know I'll be okay, almost made it all the way home before I started crying when Snow White started school, but I feel really sad. Time goes by fast enough, but once they start school it goes at warp speedMy oldest turned 9 this year and now my baby is 5, where does the time go? Forgive my rambling, just trying to explain that as much as I love being on here, my babies are growing and I'm trying to squeeze the last little bits of family fun we can have in.

Do you notice when she relates how alike Mini Montana and I are, it sounds like she's bitter??? or is it just me....I'm telling you all....she's and absolute perfect little angel

Just think if you didn't have your kids when you were in your 40's they'd be graduated by now It's funny you're the older one with the much younger children..... ok my work here is done Oh....did I mention my daughter drove her mommy to work today??

Hi guys we're home! I had a great time looking through your TR so far! Such great pics, that resort is beautiful!!!! Can't wait to hear more of your trip!!

Queen- it was great meeting you guys!! Thanks so much for the drinks!! I was going to do a TR, but unfortunatly about 4 days before we came home, someone decided they needed our camera more than we did, so we lost all of our photos. We bought the two pack of disposables that I still have to get developed. We weren't going to do Photopass, so we hadn't taken many pics from them until after that camera was gone...so we have to order the CD still.

And I always get thrown when you mention temperatures. I have to remember that 28 doesn't mean there's snow on the ground and everyone's all bundled up (like it would mean here).

I'm with you girl!!!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the fact that my guys are old enough to be pretty much left on their own. That leaves time for me and King Charming to reconnect and remember why we fell in love and had these eating machines anyway (must have been because there was just too much food at the grocery store). I can't iMAGine having a 5 year old at my age. Ugh!!!!! Too much work!!!!!!!

I am sick about your camera...how could someone sleep at night taking it?? Where was it taken from and did you check with lost and found...I'm thinking even now, it wouldn't hurt to keep checking for a little while

Yes 28 is hot!!! I'll let you know when it's -28 and then you can feel sorry for us and send some Florida sunshine our way....actually in Manitoba we have beautiful blue sunny skies, but that means horribly cold temperatures. We often say...."but at least it's sunny"....I told ya, we're a little nutty up here.

Mini Montana wears me out when she's here for a sleepover...it's all the little things you forget....they can't make their own breakfast, they can't get their toothbrush out of the cupboard above the sink, they can't pour their own milk.....good god I'm happy Jas can feed herself and drive....BONUS!!!

Oh, I don't know about that. Remember, I have to pay young man insurance (more expensive from what I hear... and probably rightfully so) times two!

But I've given both guys an ultimatum that they have to figure out what needs to be done and make it happen. If they can't do that they're not mature enough to drive. EM#1 hasn't gotten his act together yet and he could have had his learner's permit for almost a year now. But I'm in nooooooo hurry. The idea of putting them behind the wheel of a two ton potential killing machine is scary as all get out!!!!! So I'm patiently waiting.

But it will be nice when mom's taxi can retire. Mom's worry machine will kick into high gear then, for sure, but at least the taxi can retire!

Okay, Peg... the kids are back in school now, right? Where the heck are you girl?????

Peg, where are you and why haven't you posted? Watch, she's gonna come back with, I have school, dance, piano, soccer, blah blah blah, she seriously has her priorities messed up. I am going to go ahead and post another day, see, I'm back to work full time now, so I have to post when I have the time and when Jasmine doesn't have the computer. She is working at noon today until 630pm so I know the computer is all mine....I do have to get the housework, laundry and something together for dinner, but hey, Dissing comes first

There is no greater feeling than that first wake up in WDW...didn't have a great sleep, but believe me, it had nothing to do with the beds, so comfortable! I think it is just too exciting and stimulating to actually have a restful sleep.

Jasmine and I got up around 7am and went to have breakie with the rest of the family. Having the kitchen and being able to have breakfast right in the room was something we quickly got used to! Our target time was 8:30am to be out of the room and at the bus stop, we actually accomplished this!

As you can see, as soon as the girls were finished their breakfast Mini Montana was right on Jasmine's knee!! They were talking about the first ride of the day....ToT!!

The absolutely beautiful view from outside our door of SSR, I loved this resort.

I couldn't resist taking this shot to show just how close we were to the buses, I thought Peg had been exaggerating (sp?) when she said they were literally steps from the elevator. When you're used to staying at one of the farthest buildings at a value, this is heaven!

The Grandstand stop was the first stop for pickup and the first stop for drop offs, this was wonderful....empty bus. I don't think we ever had people standing when we left for the park any day we were there...Peg, and I wrong on this?

The girls all ready to board, doesn't MM look scared? She wasn't, she kept telling us it's her favorite ride....she did have specific instructions of where everyone sat...well at least Jasmine and I...Jas on one side me on the other and that when certain aspects of the ride were over, we were to tap her on the knee to let her know she could open her eyes and uncover her ears. I tapped her 3 times before she screamed at me "I know, I'm just waiting a little longer" that girl is me through and through. lol

Last year when we were at Animal Kingdom, MM got her photo taken beside the yeti foot to show she wasn't tall enough to ride, this year she wanted it taken beside the RnRC, it's always interesting to take certain photos every year to see how the kiddies have grown.

Snow white with the rider switch ticket. MM wanted Jasmine to wait with her while we all rode, then SW, Geodoc and Jasmine would ride while Peg and I stayed with MM.

G-Force records, I love the details on all the rides and so often when the crowds are sparse you miss them. We ended up waiting almost an hour for this ride, so we saw all the detail

I am embarrassed to say, it was only a couple of trips ago that I looked up and realized these were guitars....duh?

First time for Snow White on RnRC, poor thing was terrified, but I gave her credit, I was sure we would be going out the chicken exit...well, not me, Peg, it is her child after all lol

Had to grab a picture of the actual ride vehicle, it was her first time after all, it's what an auntie does

By the time we got out of the ride, let's just say Jasmine wasn't happy. It was exactly an hour from the time we entered and it was hot that day! Poor things were dying of heat, she quickly got over it though once they went on the ride. Peg and I waited for them outside and Jasmine was right on the money, it was 10am and a scorcher. I promised myself as we left home though that I was not going to complain about the heat as we had such a horrible summer at home....let me tell you though, it was hard not to that day, but I was true to my word!

So now that everyone had ridden the 2 covetted rides, we headed over to Star Tours. Now, this ride and I really don't get along, for some reason it makes me have motion sickness, so I decided I would just wait for them outside. I think this is Geodoc's favorite ride at DHS, or at least one of the top 3!

By the time they were done we decided it was time for lunch and headed over to the ABC Commissary. Jasmine had something called chicken bleu with fries and a lemonade and I had chicken curry with rice, I loved this. I thought I would be eating my fair share of hotdogs, hamburgers and fries over the next 3 weeks, so wanted to try something different and am so happy I did. Jasmine said her's was ok, I didn't have the heart to tell her the tangy taste she kept getting was blue cheese!!

After lunch we all decided to head back to SSR, it was time for the pool. We stopped for a couple of photopass pictures on the way out and lucked in that the bus was there a few minutes after we arrived.

I am at my limit for pictures, so will post this, get Jasmine off to work and I'll have another installment on by this evening. Enjoy everyone!
