I am hoping maybe someone here can help me! In May I am taking my 3 and 4 year old to Disney World for the first time! We are planning to pack lots of Princess dresses, since my girls love to dress up. We will have a stroller for each, but I know they will also want to walk some. I am hoping to find a pair of sandals for each that is cute (maybe sparkley or something) and maybe neutral enough to match most costumes, yet at least fairly comfortable.

If anyone has any tips or has seen anything that might work, I would be thrilled!!

I only have boys, but I love Stride Rite sandals for the parks. They're sturdy enough to hold up to lots of walking, but they come in cute styles. Since there's no wiggle room like flip flops or Crocs, they're safe to walk in during rain.

They'll have their new styles out before you go, but you should be able to find something that will work well. I'd buy about a month ahead of time to allow for enough time to break them in but hopefully avoid a growth spurt after you buy them.

My girls wear Keens in the parks. They have lots of different colors...some sparkly! They are super comfy as well. That's what DH and I wear in the parks as well. :goodvibes

I really like Stride Rite's shoes. The sandals come in a bunch of different styles and colors.

When DD was little I always bought Salt Water Sandals - and too many but they are so cute! I liked the surfer or sweetheart style because they were adjustable at the top of the foot and ankle and have urethane (sp?) soles that can go in the water (we never used them as water shoes, although allegedly you can, but they did get wet and were still perfect). That said, dd never wore them to Disney :)

If you are interested I wouldn't go through Amazon because some people sell fake Salt Waters. I used to be on a mother's board and one of the moms resold shoes on a site called Me and My Feet. There is usually a discount code if you google it. I might actually get a pair for me for my Disney Trip.

Good luck!

Oh, they're adorable! I bookmarked them on Zappos as I spotted 3 pairs I want to get my daughter for the spring and summer.

Thanks! I checked out everyone's suggestions and wound up ordering stride rite shoes for my girls.

My DD also wears these, especially in summer! We love them.

I also buy Livie and Luca shoes - I always make sure to have a pair for our Disney World trips. They are the one pair of shoes that DD can walk for a while and never have any blisters/redness/anything. Plus they are cuter than tennis shoes with a princess or other cute outfit.

HaHaHa! I had to double check this to be sure did not write it myself:) Totally agree!

If the sandals don't work. You can purchase Ked cloth sneakers. They are cotton so they breath. And have a great sole so feet won't get tired. You can easily make them sparkle with spray on sparkle paint. There are so many possibilities to decorate them.

My daughter (2 years) wore TOMS most days at the park in late September. She has a couple super glittery pairs, and got many compliments. They were a bit too big (she unfortunately was in between shoe size thanks to a pre-trial growth spurt) so she had to wear socks to prevent blisters, but she didn't seem to have any comfort problems, and they dried quickly after the daily rain.
