What's your comfort food for when you're feeling kinda yucky?

I don't really have one, however, I usually go for the ice cream.

Just about anything with potatoes--potato soup, mashed potatoes, baked potato.

DH says you can tell I have a lot of Irish in me--I think no meal is complete unless there is some kind of potato dish on the table. :teeth:

Potatoes for me too!

But I actually really like Kraft Mac and Cheese - the Thick and Creamy one.

Emily refused to eat mac and cheese until she tried this. Even her day care person doesn't make her eat redular mac and cheese, and she doesn't put up with the "I don't like that" attutude. Emily begs for this stuff almost every night.

Denae

Thick brownies with walnuts and chocolate frosting. Or chocolate chip cookies, warm. And a big glass of milk. Mmmm...

If it's just for me, then it Kraft Mac and Cheese Spirals :) Don't know why. :) If it's for me and my hubby, I will usually make us a big pot of soup.

Homemade Mac and Cheese. So yummy!

Okay, don't make the :crazy2: face but, I'm from the south.

My comfort food is BBQ chicken with collards and mashed potatoes.

I'm right with you. My family will not eat any box mac and cheese. It has to be homemade which I made a few days ago.... :goodvibes

Chicken nuggets and french fries from Wendy's, but ONLY if I have bleu cheese dressing for dipping! :teeth:

Yucky in the emotional sense....food. Any kind works.

Yucky in the illness sense....a huge pot of homemade chicken soup.

Hey, that sounds pretty darn yummy. No blech face here. Of course, it does have the potato component I require so I'd be all set! :teeth:

I am home today with a cold and my comfort food is anything my mom fixes...and I'm so lucky! It just so happens that she is here visiting from SC!
So I just got finished eating the best stew she made. It's nice to be able to feel like a little girl again, every now and then, and have someone take care of you for a change! ;)

A Reeses Cup. :goodvibes

My comfort meal would be baked chicken with mashed potatoes and a veggie.

meatloaf with hot sauce, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, rolls with butter, and iced tea :teeth:

My moms food. :goodvibes

Breakfast food would be biscuits and sausage gravy with my moms fried potatoes and onions..

and my moms chili with fried cornbread for dinner

Breakfast - oatmeal. :thumbsup2

Lunch or dinner - beef stew is good. A big ol' chicken fried chicken or some good fried catfish filets with all the fixins' sets me right too.

Mexican food...chips & salsa, queso w/ flour tortillas. MMMM
