He ticked at theater practice on Thursday, but he was able to hide it from the other kids. His fist got stuck in a clench. He put his other hand over it to hide it. He's been feeling the urge to squeeze things lately. I mentioned something to the therapist and she gave him a small jar of therapeutic putty. She gave him the strongest kind. Once he got in the car, he put that in his hand and it helped.
Yes, hydration ahead of time is key. And not with something that has caffeine or it will defeat the purpose. Say hi to Jeremy for us.
We are going to Sea World today to check out their Halloween Spooktacular. It's included with admission. I've been drinking Power Aid all morning. I can tolerate the orange, but red (I guess cherry) was all that was left at home. Yuck! We wont be staying long. Just a couple hours. Maybe we'll stop by the F&W Festival afterwards?
Oh no about his fist clenching. I'm glad he was able to hide it from the other kids and it doesn't sound like it got any worse than that. That's good the therapist gave him the putty and that it helped. Hope he's able to continue to make it work.
Jeremy loved the picture of JJ with Maul. When I showed it to him he got a grin on his face. He said HI and hopes JJ had fun at Sea World!! We're heading to Great America tomorrow for their Trick or Treat with the Characters. Kids can't wait to wear their costumes for the first time!! Well Sarah won't be in her actual one since it's supposed to get here next week. The kids are going to be Jeremy - Captain Hook, James - Peter Pan and Sarah Wendy. But tomorrow she'll either wear her Belle or Sofia one.
