Come to the Dark Side...4 Weekends of Fun with the Force(Updated 11/12)

I get so excited, it's difficult not to say anything.

On Monday, we met up with Judy, Pete and Lisa while they are on vacation!! It was the perfect opportunity to have JJ and Lisa spend some quality time together. (I'll let Judy tell about it in her TR.) I told him the night before. Right away he wanted to make something for Lisa. That kept him occupied til bedtime, but the next day dragged for him until it as time to meet. Judy didn't tell Lisa until I called to say I was turning into the parking lot. Last year we had to bail out of meeting one day because JJ wasn't up to it, and she didn't want Lisa to be disappointed if it happened again.



Who knew that Pecos Bills could be such a fun experience? (Oh, and LisaM, I thought about John and his "salad" when Joe came back with an extra paper plate for the fixings bar.) I discovered I like banana peppers on a hamburger. YUM!

I know exactly what you mean. Talked to Jeff the other night to see how serious he is about us driving to WDW and he said he's up for it just worried how the kids will do. I told him we'll just have to make a game out of it (and bring lots of Tylenol and motrin!!) So as of right now it looks like it's a go. Now to just decide where we want to stay!! But my point is I'm so excited and want to tell the kids but don't want to hear between now and June how many more sleeps until WDW???? I don't think my sanity could take it!!

How great you were able to meet up with them!! I'm glad it worked out this year and no one was disappointed. Can't wait to hear what you guys did and see the fun that was had! Next year hopefully we'll get to meet up with you and JJ!!

Kody loves banana peppers on her sandwiches. I think they must be a savory taste like other peppers.

Does she put them in most of her sandwiches? I've always like them in an Italian sub, but never thought of putting them in a hamburger.

I also love pepperoncinis, especially with pizza. Growing up I had a friend who ate those like pickles, straight out of the jar. She started me doing the same.

As long as I keep it within budget it'll be a go.

Our van is big enough (we have a 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan with 108,000 miles on it) but we'll rent a van. Hopefully we'll get the newer version like we did when we had the rental van when our van was in the shop from our accident in May. I already plan on probably crawling into the back of the van to nurse the baby during the drive. Saves us time from having to stop every 2 - 4 hours to feed the little one. I've done that with the other 3 during our long drives and that's when DH knows to slow down and take it a little bit easier during the drive.

Now that I have this too look forward to this school year can't end fast enough!!! Thank you!! I tried to change the pictures up a little bit but most are from our Spring Break trip to DL.

His doing better makes a big difference!

The little sneak, quickly discovered how sick chocolate could make him. Tonight we went grocery shopping. We found some organic candy that was gluten free, nut and soy free, no high fructose corn syrup, no artificial colors,. He was a very happy camper.

I had hoped to do another update, but JJ didn't have a very good afternoon yesterday. The ticking in his legs caused made it where he couldn't walk again. He found out that a friend of his is moving out of state and that his dental appointment has been moved up to get those two teeth pulled. Tomorrow he will see his friend to say goodbye. Friday he will get those teeth pulled. Today he goes for occupational therapy. He used the techniques he's learned at OT last evening when he felt anxious. They seemed to work and he didn't have any tics in the evening. Hoping today goes much better than yesterday.

Monday was a very interesting day. Started the day off with JJ getting Mickey Mail! A friend of ours who lurks this thread with her son made JJ a special memory keepsake of SWW 2013! He was so surprised and love it. It's already hanging on the wall in our family room. The autographed picture signed by Ray Park sits on top of it. It's very cool.

Monday evening we went to Epcot. Since we prepurchased a photopass CD for our MNSSHP we were having pictures taken at the little fountain before Spaceship Earth. A DISer recognized JJ right away and said something! It was lilpixiebabe101. We had never met. I'm so glad she said something. She was with our mutual friend annmarieda!! Now we know Ann and spent some time with her and Zoe last year at MNSSHP. But I wouldn't have recognized Ann at all. She was sporting some sunglasses looking like a movie star. I'm so glad they stopped to saw hello when they saw JJ!

He has had two good days. I'm so glad because it really worried me when his legs gave out on him on Tuesday. Tonight he said goodbye to his friend. He cried. Tomorrow he gets two teeth pulled though I'm going to ask if it can just be one tooth this time and come back for the other since they are on opposite sides of the mouth.
