Comcast web page

Yes, the slide presentation is quite interesting. It looks like Steve Burke will be doing the part of the presentation about the theme parks. It says they are looking to

"Restore energy and creativity in attractions, hotels and concessions."

>>It says they are looking to

Granted, but it also says:

"cost savings and economies of scale," which is code for cutbacks and homogenization of the combined brands.

Me no like.

We have Comcast cable and the service stinks and the price goes up year after year. We would be heading in the wrong direction. Comcast has no where to go. The satilite dealers are closing in and the amount of clients keeps going down.

One thing hits me already, their website looks crappy. I pray this doesn't go through. Someone else needs to take over Disney, I don't think they're the right ones to do so. Disney needs someone in there with a passion for creativity and quality. The cheap approach to making or doing anything, just doesn't work, why can't they understand that?!

The main points in the slide presentation are about the cable industry & cable entertainment.

Theme Parks are not on their list of priorities. I don't see many positives in this as far as maintaining the theme parks the way they were/are.

I can picture it now - Walt Disney World Theme Parks - a 6 Flags Entertainment Complex. YUCK!!!
