Won't get mine until Wednesday. LAst semester it was 85 for one class. Workbook and 2 videos but it is used for 2 semesters.
DS is in 4th grade in a parochial school. We have to buy his textbooks from someone in the next grade at the end of the year, and then after using them for the year, sell them to someone in the lower grade moving up.Originally posted by mickeyfan29
About high schoolers who have to pay for their textbooks.... I went to a catholic high school and had to pay for my textbooks as well
God Bless America!!

What I can't get over and resent paying, is the outrageous prices for parking!!! That definitely should be covered in tuition! Come on! Even the students who live on campus have to pay to park! You think they'd be allowed to park for free at their own home!! Good grief!!
DS had to cover his books this year. This is a first. I was telling him how we used to get the brown shopping bags and make book covers out of them. He got a kick out of that story. Of course these days they have "book socks." LOL!Originally posted by mickeyfan29
Pin Wizard,
when I attended parochial school we didn't have to buy textbooks either. I remember that we had to cover the books
and we had to bag them up at the end of the year.
