Hey, even though you didn't have your book, you remembered that I texted you!!!! :)

Sounds like super fun, I really want to do a water park next time!!!!

Yep! I remember alot just not everything! lol! ;) Defiinitely do the wterparks even if you only do one and thats it! It's like $53 per daysomething like that! It's apprx an extra $300 to add the water park fun and more 10 day park hopper .

Th waterparks are defintiely on my list of to-do's for next time...DS10 kept asking about them and DQ...so I guess I should have left that option on. Oh well...just another reason to plan another trip!

Oh and you ladies interested in Gabby's Princess Dresses....those will be posted on Facebook TONIGHT as soon as I fininsh eating!

I'm finally here. Tammy I just love the pics you took of the CBR Pirate rooms! thomas would love those. Also that Chocolate Coffee cake in SS looks delish, I'm getting one of those next time. The pics from Main St barber shop are adorable too. So what happened with your room at Pop?

Definitely even if you only do one waterpark one time!( Just pay per day at that not ad on) We really didn't get our moneys worth for the waterpark opt this time as we only went 2xs! But it is worth it if you use it like we did last year we were there everyday we could that it didn't rain!

We rode the Stitch ride. Ugh! I hate this but the kids wanted to go on. What a waste of good space! Next we went on Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin! I rode with Bolt.

Then we went for a car ride and Bolt got his license! This tickled him a lot. It was so cute. He treated that license like gold!

After a quick ride on the Haunted Mansion Sidney and I split up. I took the kids to ride Big Thunder Mountain RR while he went up front to get our water park annual passes. We had promised them a ride on BTMRR all day and we were running out of time. We were having dinner at Chef Mickey's on this night. Bolt had a fit when it was our turn to get on BTM but I made him go on anyway. 5 seconds into the ride he was going, "Weeeee!!!"

As soon as we got off we rushed our way up to the front. I look over at guest services (the one at the MK but outside of the gate) and Sidney looked ticked off. I met him half way and he told me the tickets weren't any good. I was like, "WTHRU talking about!?" These tickets were put in my purse as soon as our vaca was done and never touched again. (We had to use them for dining but that was it.) The room cards I mean. Since we have AP's for park entry.

So I went back to the window and asked for a manager to come up. I get one of those $8 an hour supervisors instead. Whatever. So, she stares at the screen for a really long time like she's confused as all get out. She kept saying, "I don't get it!? I just don't get why it's doing this..." So on and so on. An hour passes by. I sent my family ahead so they could enjoy Chef Mickey's without me assuming they could fix the problem. She calls for help. The other lady gets all confused. She asks another man. He does the same. She was getting frustrated. Then she asks me when my last visit was. I told her May. She gets my zip code. Looks up the last trip in my name. Keep in mind here when we went in May we had two ressies. One for 5 nights over at the All Stars under SIDNEY'S NAME and ONE night IN MY NAME at CSR. She goes to typing then looks back at me and says you used your tickets on that date. (The same date we were CSR. Yes I kept a detailed journal for Dis reports during that trip so I know our status minute by minute). So what I think happened is she got so frustrated and took it upon herself to assume the tickets were used since they were ONE day tickets and she was seeing a one day trip in May. Little did the idiot know we were there for 6 nights and had annual passes!

When I brought this up she asked to see them as if I was lying about it. (And now I am getting agitated with her dumb self...) Well Sidney had our tickets but I told her to go ahead and look it up in her computer. (And she did) You could tell she felt like a dumb you know what now and had already entered somehow someway on her system that we'd used those tickets so she wouldn't have to deal with me anymore. The MK was now closed and she was ready to go. All the other windows were long ago closed up. Up until she made up this BS I was fairly nice to everyone even though I had missed dinner with my family and been falsely accused of using 4 tickets! All along she had been saying conflicting things about the tickets. First they said those room keys never had tickets on them. Then she said we used them, twice! She ended up calling this wuss mgr up from the MK who of course took her side without even looking into the problem. (MK was now closed as well) I said some sweet things to them and just left. I knew what we bought and what we had used and I knew that IDIOT could not figure things out. I took the pathway and walked over to the Cont and joined the rest of them at CM's....we will get to that in the next post.
 
Uggh! What a mess with those tickets! Sounds like the rest of the day was nice though.
 
Nice update Tammy! I like how you still have them in suspense about the tickets! :thumbsup2 Oh yeah! I forgot about the Thong thing until I read the title you updated! :rotfl2:
 
Wooohooooo new title! and that sucks - did you ever get it resolved? Or is that to come?

And I love the picture of Gabby & Dash with the pink flowers - it looks like something straight out of a fairytale book, how soft everything looks. :)
 
I can't beleive they couldn't get the right info. I don't think I would've left till I talked to every manager on the property. LOL!
 
Tammy - I love the pics (especially the ones withthe dark clouds and the sun coming thru)! The MK/ticket incident totally sucks. I truely hope something good comes of it. I would be oh so mad, you know me and my temper...I would have probably been banned for life. haha j/k

Colleen - I love your part of the TR as well...great T-Rex pics. I am getting so excited about going...December can't get here fast enough!!
 
I would be so upset at having to miss dinner with my family because a manager or supervisor couldn't resolve the ticket problem. I think you handled very well. Now can't wait to see if it is finally resolved, if you got to at least have dessert with your family or what else might have happened!
 
im sorry you had an experience like that!! in wdw of all places is the last place in our minds where we would expect to deal with customer service drama....

I can sympathize with the employee's you dealt with though. When dealing with information in a computer that is incorrect or doesnt match up with a story a person is giving you, its tough to distinguish truth from bs ( i deal with this on a daily basis). Im sorry for your experience! Since you kept good record of your previous trip, try sending that to a manager to prove a refund is in order. good luck!
 
Tammy I love the pics as usual. Your hair looks very festive with the barbershop stuff. What a mess about the tickets!!!! So did it ever get solved?
 
After a pretty good long walk over to the Contemporary I finally meet back up with the family. Normally I would get business taken care of right then and there but believe me....I was dealing with a bunch of STUPID people who probably did not know their own last names. Everyone knows when times get hard the BEST are the first to go because they get paid more for better work. In most cases this is true and we all know it. I'm going to assume here all the nice decent people have been laid off or at least transferred away from the Magic Kingdom. CM was closed now but I was allowed to join them anyway. I just put the incident in the back of my head. I knew eventually I'd find someone with enough sense to fix it.

This was my first time back at Chef Mickey's since the refurb was completed. I was looking so forward to this meal. They always had the best salmon out of anyone in WDW and my mouth was watering just thinking about it. Boy was I disappointed when I got up to the bar and saw that it was covered in a red sauce and looked more like sushi! Still, I took a little piece and put it on my plate hoping for the best. I went back to the table and more characters had come around.

BTW nothing is really in order here. We were visited twice or more by Goofy, Pluto, and Mickey but had to make them bring over Minnie and Donald! Even after the handler asked if we had seen them (none of the tables over there had been visited and there was about 12 tables, maybe more) they still didn't show up. Our server had to go in the back and remind them to come back out.

So anyway, I go back to the table and try the salmon. Ew! OMG nasty! Wanted to puke. It tasted like cat food smells. I had gotten me a couple of those Mickey ravioli's too and those were the same. Decent. Better than Tutto Italia I will say. So I went back up to try some of the carved meats. I waited a good 10 minutes for them to serve me while they talked amongst themselves in another language. I thought this was rude as hell! Finally I get a piece of turkey which was decent as well and a small side of tortellini. That was good. Our server at CM's was great. He looked just like the gay guy from that makeover show that used to be on TV. I think his name was Carson or Carlson!? Anyway, he looked so much like him. All I can say is Chef Mickey's changed after that refurb and not for the better. We will go back but it will be for breakfast, not dinner. Sidney eats everything and he said most of the food was not up to par. The buffet stayed full and was changed out like any other time so it had nothing to do with sitting food. It just was not as good as before.

After dinner I went back to the resort we'd stayed in during the December visit and asked for a front desk manager and explained the ticket situation to the clerk. He got me someone immediately. I gave the tickets to the woman, told her everything that happened at the MK, and she started looking into it. Turns out when we checked in to the resort they made 4 tickets for us. Then 4 seconds later they made new cards. We were never given the first set of cards. I'm not sure why they reprinted them, neither is she. But she went on to discover tickets were never added to the second set of cards. Somehow they were refunded. She looked to see where this refund went to and it was like it was just refunded to air. Those of you who do the free dining gig know that tickets (at least a one day ticket per person) must be purchased in order to get free dining.) This is why we had purchased the one day tickets. They are not allowed to refund those because it would void the free dining. Plus she could see nothing was put back on a CC or issued as a room credit, etc. Our plan was to keep those tickets since one day tickets never expire and use the $ value towards a water park annual pass Summer of 2009. A WP AP is $99 so it would have been about $25 to upgrade each ticket. That was our intention with the tickets.

Well, here we were 8 months later. She said she could replace my one day tickets but they would not have a cash value for that upgrade. I told her what our plan was.....upgrading to WP passes and all. Well she asked us if she did 8 one day ultimate park hoppers if that would be okay. This would give us two visits to the water parks during that visit as well as two nights at DisneyQuest which my kids love. I asked them if that would be okay and they said sure! She was great about everything. She told us details of what happened. Apologized for their mess up and the way the MK acted, not that she had to. She didn't do it but she felt so bad about us being late to dinner plus my missing out on most of it. At this point I felt someone had made an effort to make things right. If the MK couldn't figure things out they should have sent me back to the resort. She didn't have to be a B and accuse us of using the tickets which, come to find out, we NEVER even had! BTW she said this early on into the ordeal over at MK. Instead of being a B she could have just said, "Ma'am...I don't understand what's going on....can you take these back to ____ and let them handle it." It's simple. I guess they figured I'd just go on and let things be. Not sure about you folks but $300 is hard to come by in my house and I will not let such a thing slide! This was the second time since March that WDW tried to sock it to me. I suppose they are trying to pay for the Fantasyland expansion any way they can. Even if it does involve screwing people over!

In the end I got refunded for the extra room charge back in March because I had paperwork to prove my story. (ALWAYS GET PRINTED COPIES OF ANY TRANSACTION!!!!!!!) In that case we moved from Pop to the Wilderness Lodge and although Pop sent a credit over to the WL they claimed to have never gotten it so they charged my CC after I returned home. I had the receipt though that showed the credit. After a $10 phone call and a fax showing the credit they refunded my money. My CC had started an investigation on them as well. They were so hateful, OMG, never in my life have I dealt with such mean people and never did they apologize for their error! Then this ticket thing. :headache: Also, if you have AP's and buy these one day tickets to get free dining SEPARATE THEM FROM THE PACKAGE BEFORE YOU CHECK IN AND GET A PAPER TICKET!!!!!!!!!!! Make sure you do this! Not every CM is comfortable with doing this because it can mess things up if they make a mistake but find someone who knows what they're doing and have it done! At least then you have a real ticket in your hand!

WOW! Tammy that is just crazy:headache:. I'm sure it makes you mad knowing how much time and money you and your family spend there. Thats like us we are always there you would think they could give us something:confused3
