Coke Light??

I have been researching this online and can't seem to find info anywhere!

Does anyone know if Coke Light (European and I believe African version of Diet Coke) has calories? The closest answer I can find is "Might possibly have a few."

I'm just curious. For some reason, I think Coke Light is much better than Diet Coke (even though I am an avid Diet-Coker) and just wondered if this is the difference.

I don't think it does have calories, but IIRC, Coke uses a different artificial sweetener in different countries than it uses in the US, so that might be why it tastes a little sweeter?

Yep, Bob is correct. Different countries use different sweetners. Just called my nephew who works for Coke...which is wy I have a storage building full of Coke merchandise

I will have to check this next time I go out. I have also found Coke Light to be better tasting. It does not taste flat as most diet drinks do.

I love Coke Light, but it is not sold in this country, as far as I know.

I thought it had 1 calorie, but I could be wrong.

Sometimes you want a little flavor (and caffeine!)! Although I have been drinking sparkling waters lately, and they're OK.

Is Coke Light kind of like Pepsi One?

I prefer Diet Coke/Pepsi to Pepsi One... althought at first I didn't.

I have never had Coke Light before, but your comment got to me.

In case you didn't realize, coffee & tea (w/o the flavored syrups, sugar & creamer) are also 0 calories! So you can actually get all that w/o the calories and not have to use an artificial sweetener
