Coffee Maker ?

Can you request a coffee maker at a moderate resort? And is there a charge?

Wendyww, I don't drink coffee but I did stay at a moderate resort, the CBR, over the holidays. There was a coffeemaker in my resort room. There were also packets of coffee, and since I don't drink coffee, I can't tell you how much they were (sorry).

According to the WDW website (www.disneyworld.com), coffeemakers are found in the rooms of the following moderate resorts: CBR & CSR. They can be requested at PO-FQ and PO-RS.

At CBR in December, the coffee packets were $1.14 each. I took Folgers singles and they worked fine BUT we did buy refillable mugs and ended up using those instead since the coffee makers are only 4-cuppers and there were four of us in the room. They don't charge for using the coffeemaker, only for the coffee, so we did make instant oatmeal and also brought cocoa packets (free with mug) back from OPR and enjoyed in the room.

I am a coffee addict. They do have coffee makers in the rooms at CBR. There is no charge for the coffee maker, but they do charge for the coffee. We went in October and I don't know what they were charging for the coffee. I have drank the coffee that they put in the rooms. It is not bad. My wife and I just bring our on to save a little money.

That's a great idea about using the coffe maker to make oatmeal. My kids love those flavored oatmeal packets and that would save us quite a bit of money on breakfasts! Last year we didn't take a whole lot of food with us and really regretted it because we had to go out for almost all our meals and snacks. This year we a taking lots of food with us because we just can't spend as much this year as we did last year. Thanks for the tip!

Coffee makers are included at CSR at no charge...including coffee!
