Codes That You Think Were Generated By Ordering A Planning DVD...

For those of you that ordered a DVD and then received a code shortly thereafter:

How long did it take to show up, and was it sent via email or snail-mail?

Did anyone receive a DVD that included a message concerning a discount code?

We got a new planning DVD today (as if we don't have all of it memorized already!) and I'm hoping we might start receiving pin codes for future stays.

I got mine really fast. I want to say it was within one or two days.
 
I ordered our first planning DVD in December and received a 30% off discount code via email in late January.

I ordered another planning DVD in late February and received another 30% off discount code email the first week of March.

The two emails contained the SAME pin number.
 
I got the pin within a few days of getting the DVD (back in December or January). I got a mailer for 30% off our vacation whilst we were waiting for our DVD (bad timing obviously as the DVD had already arrived LOL). It said something like "____ family, here's a little something to help you plan your next vacation while you wait for your vacation planning DVD."
 

Well I order mine back in early February so if it was coming should have come by now lol. Oh well I am still going no discount or not. Just hoping for a nice discount for my two room in December now that would be nice:goodvibes
 
I ordered several DVDs in differerent familiy members names back in Feb and got absolutely nothing:-( Just wondering - are those of you who received the code new to Disney? I have been there 14+ times and indicated that on the form. Just wondering if they are targeting new customers. I also booked a room under the advice of people on these boards, hoping the code with come later and that I could apply it. That may havehurt me as well. Why should they send a code to a customer they already Have! In any event, I have all but lost hope of getting one:-( Marie
 
I too ordered several dvd's
but I got mine the day after I called to
inquire about a package!
 
I also wonder if anything is based on when you tell them you might be planning your next visit. All I know is the whole pin code thing is one tough nut to crack!!!
 
We got our 20% code within a week of requesting the DVD. I received the code via email. I have yet to get the DVD and I requested in over 2 months ago.

I received my Disney Planning DVD mid-March. I had several trips booked for this year already (one in March, one in May, one in June, one in October, and one in December). I called regularly, to check if I had a code, but did not. I called last week and was NOT told I had a code, but got a significantly lower price on BC than the Passholder rate, FL Res Rate, or the public code provided for 5/9-11. When I calculated it, it was exactly 30% off the rack rate!

LOL - I would rather get the code than the DVD! I have quite a few of them on hand now, but no code!
 
Greetings from Chicago!! :) 72 and sunny here today!! I ordered a dvd 4 weeks ago. Received the dvd on the 13th. I received a postcard, via snailmail, today the 15th. The potcard said that i had customized information and an offer. I went to the website and nothing. I then called down to disney and was told I had a code that seemed to be 20-25% off Beach Club room. The family loves Beach Club. The standard room was 260 plus tax. The ONLY problem is that June 1 - August 9 are blocked out dates. The kids go bck to school the week of the 20th. This discount is probably only slightly better if at all from AAA which we belong to. Besides the blackout dates, all the airfare I have checked is out of hand. Good luck to all, still hoping for something in late JULY. :cool1:

I'm still hoping for a postcard in the mail. However, I have to tell you I've had the worst luck with our family being listed as DoNotEmail/DoNotMail. Everytime I call and ask them to change it, it doesn't stay that way...so I will probably need a medic if I ever do receive anything.

I went to the website and removed myself from the do not call or email list!
maybe some one could help you with a link
it worked for me!
I tried calling them and they never could see to get me removed from the do not call list
