Thank You!! Thank You!! Thank You!!! I LOVE YOU ALL !!! I am new to these boards and just learned how to get the codes. We will be visiting the WL in December with a Courtyard View for $ 154.00 per night !!! This amazes me, as we are going in August to CSR and are paying almost that for a Waterview. My question is Does Disney release these codes every few months? Have they always? Is there any pattern? Do they ever give codes for the summer, specifically August? When would they be available? Just wondering.
Again, THANK YOU EVERYBODY !!!

I think I have an answer for you about WHY they have these codes every few months...

Hotels have many variables effecting them and this effects what they have to "sell" through out the year. Of course they have a budget they are trying to stick to; but there are conventions(group rooms) to world events that will effect how and what rate they will be offering at what time. These are things that they can not really plan on a year out.

I hope that sheads a little insight, and I hope you all got some killer rates!

I hate to break your heart, but there were great code rates for August this year too........they've expired now though. Look at it this way, now you know and won't let it happen again!;)

It's too bad that you missed the codes for August. Maybe if we all send a little pixie dust your way they'll send out a new batch of postcards and you'll get one. Who knows, if they have rooms to fill they may try it. I had a CM at CRO tell me last month that Disney is going to try to start sending cards to repeat customers as a reward of sort. So, here's wishing you a post card. My post card covered stays through 8/24 but unfortunately I can't go then. Also, although it says the # of rooms is limited, there doesn't seem to be an expiration date on the cards.

Wouldn't that be wonderful to get apost card. I really hope that they do send them to repeat visitors. DH and I are Addicts and with 2 in college we need all the help we can get.

my bro. got a postcard earlier this spring for a $89 rate for the moderates............but it had a catch, timeshare presentation. If they send postcards will it be a catch like that or just a flat room rate (I hope). TTFN.

We went in January 2002 and so far since I've been back, I received one from AMEX (had to charge to AMEX card) and two from Disney. One was for the moderates and the last one I got was $110 off a Deluxe. Just the usual fine print. Discount off of rack rate and no other discounts can apply. Available most nights...yadda..yadda..yadda. Anyways, I had read on mousesavers that someone had luck getting the postcard rate for a later date so I tried. That's when the CRO said that they were going to start sending them more often to repeat visitors. I haven't thrown mine out yet because if I don't get another one before January 2003, I gonna try to use it!:smooth:

Disney send postcsrds with discount rates. No catch except not many people get them. ;) (And they offer a good rate during a certain time frame that they will not extend.)
