I booked a room-only two years ago for a colleague for a work trip and used my email and address since I didn't know his at the time and I keep getting PIN codes in my email for him! The latest is the "$63/free dining or stays most nights 9/28/08-10/11/08 in a standard room." Now, we're going 10/11-10/17 and we've gotten ONE postcard in 10 years.

It's frustrating because I know he'll never go back, and we go at least yearly. Just wanted to vent because I know you guys would understand.

me too. I took my sister to WDW 3 years ago for Free Dining in August.
Now, all of a sudden, I keep getting pins codes in her name to my email address.
I am a frequent out-of-town visitor and I have never gotten a PIN..

I always wonder how you get a code. We got one once, 5 or 6 years ago, and it was a great deal, I think we paid $40 a night for value if we added dining. Did you get any discount on your trip? We did and saved $1000, ($497 per room, we have 2 booked). I don't know if it is too late to apply a code off Dis or not.

Also, I got an e-mail today NOT from Disney. It was a travel company I have never used, but I get their updates. I was for $59 a night at value but it too expired the day you are going. I don't know, maybe it was the same offer he got? If so, at least this time it was open to the public. (Just trying to make you feel better...)

Me too! I booked my dad's trip last time, and used my email to get his confirmation. So now I keep getting pin offers in his name (got one yesterday for the free dining). I called Disney last night to have my email removed from his info (which they told me they did). I was hoping that now that my info is the only one linked to that email that I would now start getting pin offers in my name.

so today - ANOTHER email came through with the same free dining offer - BUT STILL FOR MY FATHER!!!

arg....

This happened to us last year. I explained that it was my email address and not the other person and I was allowed to use it. If they say no ask for guest services and explain to them and see if you can use. There is alos a code on the disney website for this time period look under reservations and then under specials and see if it matches your dates.

Evidently, I'd registered under two separate email addresses... my work one and one of my personal ones.

Today, I realized that I got not just one, but TWO offers. The same offer as the OP in both. What I thought was odd was that both of them were addressed to "Dear Gross Family, ..." My last name is not Gross. Both offers, sent to separate email address both had the same PIN code.

Has anybody else ever had this happen?

I got one for the Southern Family... Who is the Southern Family and why are they attached to my email? weird....
