Okay, now SWA is UNDER six months out, they should be opening up past June 7 any minute, right??? I want to book my June trip and depending what dates they have with good fares may change day or two with resort but need to do! cmon SWA!!!!!
I'm with you Donnamerry. I want to book for July and I keep checking SWA's website every day, usually everytime I log on! I even called their 800 number to ask when they would start showing availability past June 7th and they had no information to offer. Just told me to keep checking back.
So far, no luck! Specials are out, but $99 each way to MCO is no bargain to me. I had $93.00 rt nonstop last Aug. If I'm going to go, I've got to get a deal or DH won't let me & the kids to go!. I've got to make my deals so good he can't say no! I'll keep checking.
BarbnBrian: I'm in the same boat at you.....gotta get a good price or DH won't hear of it. Last time we went to WDW, we flew out of Manchester, NH nonstop for $99 RT. About one month ago, SW had a deal for $88 RT nonstop out of Hartford, but I missed it. Darn!! Just checked again today and the prices just keep going up.
ME TOO! WONDER WHAT TIME THEY ACTUALLY PUT THEM IN. I'M BEING OPTIMISTIC STILL HOPING SOMETIME TODAY! I'D LIKE TO BOOK THE FLIGHTS AND THEN SEE IF I HAVE THE RIGHT DATES FOR THE RESORT DEPENDING ON WHAT I GET FROM SWA.
I dont understand whats the big deal since we are in the same situation. If no one else can book till a cetain date, which means the "flight" (Not schedualed yet) has no passagers...I think we all have some ants in our pants R E L A X you will get a ticket...if no one else can get them yet there is nothing to worry about !
OK Mousehut, perhaps you don't understand the dilemma, which many of us face. You have already booked, the hotel, cruise, certain dates, whatever. So we're locked into those dates and may also be holding free tickets w/SWA. WE WOULD LIKE TO BE ON CERTAIN FLIGHTS @CERTAIN TIMES! And yes, there is a problem with the release of the new schedule. Orlando is one of their most popular destinations, the cheap seats are released at midnight PST, which means that folks on the East Coast have an advantage, if they are buying for relatives at a reasonable hour. So, I absolutely disagree with your post. Is there anything else you would like to add?
Well, you are welcome to your own point of view! I just see a plane with 100-150 people on it. I just doubt in 1 or 2 hours ...depending on where you live...the 30-40 deep discounted (Q) seats are going to sell out.
Some of us travel from small regional airports with only one or two non-stops to Orlando per day. If we want to travel at specific times, it's imperative that we know when the tickets go on sale!!! Otherwise, we end up at LaGuardia.
mh101, Yes they are inside cabins! But on SWA, it doesn't matter, everone flies in 3rd class! Folks on the East Coast have an advantage, they can book the internet specials (cheap seats) for friends and relatives out here, without having to get up at an ungodly hour, when SWA releases the new schedule and specials, and yes, to Orlando, they are very quickly GONE!
