Could I offer a friendly word of advice - if you go back and edit the thread title every time you post an update people are more likely to notice it. It's one of the reasons I prefer to start a new thread for each day.

I really do hope you carry on.

As David said you can amend your title to say 'Pretrip to Day 2' etc, you do this by editing your first post then hitting advanced, this lets you amend the title. Some people may not realise you have added to your report if they have not subscribed.

I was feeling a little disheartened to be honest I know I haven't got as much experince as other's on here.

Ok you've both given me the kick up the ... that I needed, so I'll get back to it, AND I'll post a new thread for each day

Great news. Don't worry about how you write it, people just enjoy hearing about it and sharing the holiday. Mine are always rushed because I do them 'live' and I don't have time to think about them properly but I just soldier on to anyone who will listen.

The other good thing is you have a record of your holiday on the net for yourself as well.
