For those following along at home . . . here is where the questions start to get really tricky!

Ah yes, the classic quandary. As someone who once was the 3 year old boy running in circles, do I give the prize to the child I see in myself? Do I award the patient older sister? What of the parents who made this trip possible? I believe I would choose the 9 year-old girl. My hope is that she is old enough to remember the experience and that I would be planting a seed that she would learn to pass on to others. The best magic happens when our ‘dream-granting’ leads others to go out and create dreams too. For this reason, I think the 9 year old girl is in the best position to “pay it forward” in her life. I think this choice has other side effects as well. It really is an award for the parents. I mean, who doesn’t want to see their young daughter happy? Also, if the award were to require the girl to leave her family for a moment or two, the parents would be able to devote more attention to the 3 year-old brother, so everyone wins!

I'd have to go with Amy Kate. We really seem to be torn from the same book. She really seems like the type of person I'd get along with and have a blast working with.

I think KTP has given Disney a lot of free PR LOOT and I certainly understand his predicament. So, I think it would be in my best interest to present this scenario to Kenny. Okay, KTP...let's just say I made it into the Top Three and let's just say that I made you a part of my supportive dream team for the reality show portion of the competition. If a free trip to Disney will get your endorsement...I'm all over that! Almost 45,000 hits to your You Tube video, experience in the first-ever dream competition, the ability to track down Top 20 and Top 10 candidates in a single blow (and a totally fun guy)?!?!?! Okay, Kenny...in addition to all the Dole Whips and Mickey Bars you can eat...and if a free trip will get the PR LOOT...I thinks me could use a pirate on the team. Arrrr!

Hmmmmm, I'm not sure if you mean one "award" or just specific to one person?

If it was one award--I'd take a Dream Fast Pass out of my pocket and award it to the family. It would probably make everyone more excited, less bored, and looking forward to their adventures after the amazing parade.

If I was giving something to one member of the family, I'd become the "Magic Express" for the 9 year-old girl and give her a piggyback ride to a prime VIP spot on the parade route. Hopefully the mom or dad will put the 3 year old on their shoulders (or in the stroller), and we'll all make train noises throughout the park signaling the arrival of the "Magic Express." It should make them all a little happier

I would award the mother with an outside table at the Plaza Inn (DL) and treat her and her invited guests (her family) with beverages and a snack. From the Plaza Inn they could still see the parade, get a rest, and be rewarded with refreshment. I would pick the mother because “Nobody’s happy if mom’s not happy.” Hee hee, I just made that up!

Question #2: What is your first Disney memory?

Karrie Dunkin's Response:

In preschool, kindergarten and 1st grade, I was lucky to have both of my parents working at my school (my father as a 2nd grade teacher and my mother as an assistant in deaf education and the hearing-impaired classroom). We lived way out of town in Michigan's Upper Penninsula (dats right...I'm officially a Yooper...you betcha!) and my dad and I used to take the snowmobile to school. I remember riding on the back of the Arctic Cat while he and I sang "Heigh Ho, Heigh Ho...It's Off To School We Go" at the top of our lungs. I also remember NEVER missing the Wonderful World of Disney...it was such a special family time to gather around the TV (and turn the KNOB to the right station - Hee Hee) and share in Walt Disney's ever-so-magical shows. Of course, I also remember the first time I went to Disneyland. Words cannot even explain the awe - and it is absolutely amazing to be reliving that through the eyes of my three young children. Even better the second time around! I also remember lying in bed as a child and just picturing the various rides and attractions trying so hard to make myself dream about Disneyland and WDW every night (and it worked a couple of times - both times I was on Pirates of the Carribean - YAY!)!

Question #6: If you had a choice to give an amazing "Dream" to a newly married couple, a family with two small children, or a group of friends... who would you select and why?

I LOVE these questions! They are really thought-provoking! Again, my answer is going to defer to the group that I believe has the best chance to someday pass the magic on. As a relatively newlywed couple, my wife and I would have loved to have received a ‘dream’ on our last visit. I’ve also been to the parks with groups of friends on several occasions and anything that could make those experiences even more magical would have been greatly appreciated.

I know that kids come in all sizes, and I believe that we are all dreamers inside. So, each group is worthy and any chance to help someone recapture the magic of their dreams is a chance worth taking.

That being said, however, I would choose the family with the children. Again, it is my hope that granting them a “dream” will allow the kids to see the world as a place full of wonder and want to grow up to create dreams for people around them. Kids are so fearless when it comes to sharing with others, that you just know they would be running around all day telling everyone they meet about their magical experience. Same thing when they get home. All of the smiles that they would bring to the other guests due to their excitement are little 'dreams' in their own right, aren't they?

I also believe – even though I don’t have children – that being a parent is one of life’s great callings and any dream I can grant to parents is fine by me!

OHHHHH, Chuck E Cheese. I love that place. They have the best advertising line, "Where a pirate can be a pirate!" I just love that line!
