Wow this thread moves fast! Sorry for leaving you hanging there, Disgeeks (LOVE the Andimated avatar by the way)! I was alone with my 3 little ones in Florida when my daughter, Ella, fell and cut her leg on a broken tile in the pool. She was a trooper, though, and the first words out of her mouth in the ambulance were, "This is gonna make a really good show and tell." Now Daddy-O is back in the states and I'm finally able to catch up on this thread. It's great to be back!

'Glad to hear that DD is okay. While I'm sure her injury wasn't fun at the time, I'm guessing it couldn't have been too life-threatening if she was sizing up her "bragging rights" en route to the emergency room!

I know I'm like SUPER GADOOPER late on all of the happenings here, but I was out skiing in West Virginia for a really long weekend! I also think Justin is wonderful and awesome, but I really like Patrick's video as well! Everyone is SO good! I'm so excited to be home and cast A LOT more votes!

I’ve been informed by my DW that I’m to vote 10 times for all participants of the DISbate, and that I’m to vote 10x10 times for the last CMO-candidate standing . . .

. . . which reminds me, any chance that someone could schedule a steel-cage match between the candidates for those of us who are less cerebral?

OPENING STATEMENT FROM DAVID H.

First of all, for all of the applicants that did not make Top 10, You ROCK! It takes a special type of person to want to get in front of the world to make dreams come true. I congratulate you. For the other 9 who are in the Top 10...it's my pleasure for being in great company. Thank you! Now, here's what I think. Everyone has dreams. From kids to the elderly, everyone has dreams. Each person who walks through the gates of a Disney park wants one thing; to have Fun. They want to leave worries or troubles at the gate and live the day with an open mind of a child and the belief of magic. As CMO, I would like to take my character, creativity and passion for Disney and combine it with Disney Magic to enhance the experience of guests. A Year of a Million Dreams Celebration is a way to grant people dreams they didn't even know they had. This is the business of lifetime memory making and as the CMO, I would love to be a part of this business.

Hi, everyone! Thank you so much for hosting this event, and inviting all of the candidates. I’m honored to be among such distinguished company!! My name is Meggin Weaver, and I’m a magic-holic. I’d like to become your first CMO because I think the only true recovery I see to my random acts of wish granting is to be given the authority to make magic in an official capacity at the Happiest (and most Magical) Places on Earth—Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

All joking aside, I really am so grateful to be in the running for such an amazing opportunity with other candidates that I respect and admire. I promise that whether or not I become the official CMO, I will continue to bring as much sunshine and magic to other people’s lives as I can, knowing that I can always be a representative of all of the other Disney dreamers and magic makers here and around the globe. If nothing else comes of this experience from “the sponsors,” it feels wonderful to have found new friends who share the same passion and gratitude for “the sponsors.” Above anything else that happens tonight and onward, I want you to know my heart.
