I need your help!

I have plenty of good questions for the DISbate tonight. However, I'd like one question for each candidate that is specific to them. I'd like it to be a "tough" question, but not negative.

My plan is to PM or email the question a few hours early so that they will have time to work on their answer in advance.

But... I'm struggling a little with a couple of the candidates. So... put your DISminds to it. If you come up with anything, send me an email to:

Any word on the questions yet? Fleagle, regarding our 'opening statements' - is this just supposed to be our case for why we should be CMO? Is there a length limit?

I'll try to have some things prepared ahead of time so it's a matter of cutting and pasting and not trying to reinvent the wheel! Typing it all live could take a while!

Opening statement can be whatever length you would like it to be and whatever form you would like it to take.

Thanks to Vickie for reminding me that I told the candidates I would assign them another candidate to whom they could ask a question 24 hours in advance. I think we are going to have to scratch that part because I'm not completely sure who is joining us live yet.

I'll try to PM the candidates with their individual questions by no later than 7PM. In any case, I won't send any of them unless I have all of them so that its fair. Obviously, if you haven't ever posted here, I've got no way to PM you... so you may not get your question until later.

Excellent! I hope others will pledge votes. After all, the candidates are taking their time to join us and I think they should have the chance to be rewarded.

I'm filing down the individual question for each candidate. I am trying very hard to make them fair, but challenging, and not negative. That's harder than you might imagine. Not because I have negative feelings, but because I don't want there to be an implied negativity in the question (I hope that makes sense)

I also want the questions to be of an equal toughness for all candidates. That's tough too.

That said... I'm hoping to have them out by 6:00 PM EST. I think in the interest of time, I'll send out most of the questions that will be asked so they can prepare. Otherwise we may spend most of our time just refreshing and waiting for the next questions to post.

Me, too! And, I will go one step further...

As you know I've been promoting Justin, because I feel like I really know him, based on his posts here, and I think he will make a great CMO. (Go Justin!) But I have enough CMO love to see 2 of my faves in the top 3!

Tonight will be fun, but it also has the potential to let us really know the personality of the candidates. So based on my feelings for the person who best "speaks to me" I will do the following:

I will add a second "Vote for" banner to my signature, and start promoting the candidate along with Justin on my website! I've been directing all my friends and coworkers to my site for voting so far, so this could add a large number of votes for both Justin and candidate x.

Of course, if Justin blows the rest of the competition away tonight, then I'll have to figure out what else to do for him!

I know I'm like SUPER GADOOPER late on all of the happenings here, but I was out skiing in West Virginia for a really long weekend! I also think Justin is wonderful and awesome, but I really like Patrick's video as well! Everyone is SO good! I'm so excited to be home and cast A LOT more votes!

As an aside, is it best to vote ONLY for one favorite, or should I vote for all of my favorites? I'm not sure exactly how that works. I get unlimited votes, right? any suggestions?
