Hey guys I thought I'd show you all our Sleeping Beauty Snowy Creation. We only had 1/2" of snow, so it was a good bit of work getting the snow and the temperature climbed quickly today, so we couldn't add every detail we wanted. Hope you enjoy our photos...

So I feel like it is the top 20 all over again..... I'm reading about everyone getting their pin packages, so the mailman arrives today and I greet him at the door. And...... just a letter from nursing school telling me they need more info for my application, something from National Geographic, a package for the DH....... awwwwww sadness. Silly postal service taking forever in Massachusetts.

Yeah tothesizzle, it was a lot of fun making it. My oldest daughter was especially sweet as we carved it, and she talked about how most adults don't have time to do really fun and creative stuff with their kids. (run on sentence probably) Brought a tear to my eye, the one under the patch of course.

Man.... I'm never that creative when it comes to snow.

We just take some characters or photos out and go to it. I figured you have to start with the parts that are biggest and carve in. It was working great until it froze solid, then it became ice carving! I just use basic painting tools, scrapers, paint paddles and the like.

DF - Thanks, not sure how much I could make on 1/2" of snow ever couple of years though.

CDF - Thanks too, I love my kids and love spending time together. I don't want my life with them to end up being "The Cat's in the Cradle." That's why we try to run to the SPONSOR parks any chance we get. It makes great memories for me.

Oh, off topic. I'm a volunteer coach at my kid's private school. I coached my son's 3-4th grade and my daughter's 5-6th grade teams yesterday against another local private school. They always lose to the other school. We won both games, and BOTH games were blow outs. My kids played some awesome defense and were terrific passers.

Shenanigans indeed! I'm not worried..... sometimes the mail service in our town is well.... umm..... strange. Like I can drop a letter in the mailbox down the street at like 7pm and it will be recieved the next morning..... like some sort of magic mail portal. Or the opposite happens.... it takes FOREVER.

On a side note..... I had a panic attack this morning, I got a letter from the Nursing school I had applied to. I opened it slowly and...... it was just a letter stating that they were still waiting for my high school transcript. Which made me laugh because I haven't been in high school in over a decade.....

This was my first time watching the top 10 and all I have to say IT WAS SO HARD TO VOTE FOR ONE PERSON....so I voted for two!
