Thanks guys.....that REALLY meant a lot!!!
Since I am so short (5' 0"), I was basically a square when I started losing. I was at a local amusement park and tried the "dummy" seat for a ride (and I am THE ride rider of all time) --- and it wasn't looking good for me to fit. So I passed on the ride. My children are ride riders as well (husband - not so much), so, all of a sudden, I wasn't the 'cool' mom anymore. I wanted nothing more than to get on the highest biggest roller coaster with my children without a worry.
We went to Hershey Park when I felt like I would fit....but I still wasn't sure. I was on line and my son (sweetest 11 yo ever) says, "It's okay Mommy, you'll fit and even if you don't you are still doing SO well....don't let it bother you!"
Well, when I approached the seat, I was honestly nervous. I asked the ride attendant to just make sure it clicks. He looked at me funny and that made me even MORE nervous. It clicked!!! I started crying and the people on line around us actually clapped. The attendant said something like of course it would fasten! You see, I still "see" myself as 60.5 lbs heavier....that is hard to get used to, you know?
It was so the BEST DAY EVER!!!!!!!! So the Disney incentive trip, as you can guess, means everything to me!!! I ran them all ragged at the parks the last time we were there, literally ran, from ride to ride to attraction to ride and back again!!! I cannot wait to go back and celebrate the next part of my journey.
THANKS FOR LETTING ME SHARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
