CM Main Gate and EMH?

I tried look for an answer, but can't find anything recent. I'll be using my sister's CM Main Gate tickets (not comp tickets) in September, with a resort stay. Can we take advantage of EMH? We're both on the resort reservation - is that the only qualifier?

Edit: Might not be using the exact terminology here - but I'll be entering the park with her, using one of her three guest passes.

If you are staying on property then you can use EMH. If not, your ticket doesn't matter you can't use EMH. It is a perk for guests staying at Disney resorts.
