I am cluless about pixels. I have an impage I am trying to have put on an item from artscow but the site tells me the pixels must be at least 1232 x 780 and the image I have is only 720 x 479. Is there anything I can do or am I out of luck?
If you're stuck with that image and have to make it larger, the general rule when it comes to sizing up is that you shouldn't go past 110% of your original. And that's if you're using good software like Photoshop. Software makes a difference here because it's going to decide what to fill in the blanks when you size up. The other option is software like Perfect Resize (used to be Genuine Fractals). It does a better job of adding in pixels and that's all it does.
On FB did you just right click and save or did you click the download link below the image? If the file was uploaded larger than it is being displayed then you might get a larger image by doing the download link.
Thank you for all the suggestions. On FB I tried both, right clicking and using the download option. Both give me the same pixel size. DARN I really wanted to use this pic. The owner ( DH's neice) is dragging her feet looking to see if she has it still in her camera or on her computer at home.
