Ugh, don't get me started on the Poly lounge. There is never enough seating, and whenever we got there the food had run out and was never restocked. We had a great experience at the Grand Floridian though.Wow. That’s very disappointing that they would treat a guest that way. You are paying just like everyone else. Hopefully they won’t have something to say to my son if he takes a few items from tray.
For the snacks, unless you are there during the specially designated happy hour in the evening, there really is not much at the lounge. Pretzles and cookies types of things. So if you try to go at say 3pm there won't be much.

Over the years they have cut the size of the glasses and plates pretty much in half to try and reduce people from taking a lot, which I find ridiculous based on what they charge.

For the cost, they should always have an omelet station at breakfast.
