Oh that’s sounds wonderful! I didn’t realize mimosas were avialable at the lounge.

Definitely don't be shy about asking what is available. We always do AKL CL, so I know their alcoholic offerings, and they have menu boards to reference, but we recently stayed WL CL, and for whatever reason I didn't ask what my beverage options were so I was doing regular mimosas, because I knew all the CLs had them, which are fine, but I don't really like OJ. I found out from this board that they also do a mimosa with the spiced cranberry drink they make and that was much better, wish I had just asked day 1!

In some of the lounges the wine & beer isn’t out for the dessert/cordial time, but all you have to is ask & it magically appears! Don’t be shy about asking!

Sangria is sometimes available too. It was at AK CL, but WL CL had some cool beers I liked so I drank those there instead.

AKL CL has an electronic picture frame that has the menus rotating on it, including the different beverage offerings, so it is easy to see what they have. They don't have the mimosas out, but I have never been turned down, and I go through quite a few of the mimosas and sunrise sangrias each trip, certainly one each morning! Just note, their default mimosa is made with their jungle juice (I think it is the same as POG) so if you want a traditional OJ one you need to specify. The lounge is pretty small and there are always CMs milling about, so if you need something be sure to ask.

From what pictures I've seen, it does look like the food there is more substantial than the YC. Breakfast was excellent there, evenings a little on the light side- but we were rarely there at dinner time so I could have easily missed something. Ours was comped so I already had meals and activities set. This trip I'm purposefully trying to add in more resort time to actually enjoy the perks. We're not huge eaters, will never make our money back on food, but I'd like to spend more time there I think. I was also there with just my grandson, severely limiting my alcoholic beverages. lol Not that I drink enough to really do much, but with only me in charge, I didn't feel free not to worry about that 3rd drink. I kept thinking, what if I had to drive him somewhere? What would mom say? lol

Yes that part was cool. I hit it right once when it was tapped and flowing and loved it. But then I missed it , and had the taste for beer going so I tried one of their craft cans and started drinking that the rest of the trip.

For future trips, they will get the key to the tap whenever you ask! They usually offered to grab it for my husband when they saw us in the lounge in the afternoon...they "convinced" him to get a beer at times when he wasn't planning to get one

This is the way it is with any beverage in any lounge. If they don't have it out and you know they have it, just ask. They'll always get it. No one will judge your beer with breakfast, it's made with barley and oats after all, LOL
