Don't hear much about this exclusive club, except that it's hidden somewhere on Main St and you need a key to get in and membership is very expensive with a 10 year waiting list!!

Anyone ever seen it on Main St? Where exactly is the door located?

and...anyone out there actually members of this club? Any info? I"m assuming that most members have got to be wealthy celebrities or something.

I don't know much about it, other than that it is at Disneyland, not WDW. I don't think there's any equivilent at Disney World.

It is at 33 Royal Street in New Orleans Square in Disneyland (California). Cost of membership is about $5,000 initiation and about $1,000 per year plus the cost of anything you purchase. And there is a waiting list several years long to become a member.

Darn, it's at Disneyland-I was hoping we'd be able to catch a peek during our trip to WDW this winter.

Oh well....why is it so expensive?? Does this price include meals or events? Do you need a WDL admissions ticket to enter?

Anyone have pics?

Since this exclusive club is in Disneyland I will move this thread to the DL Forum. You may get more replies there.

I did look into this at one point when the waiting list was at about 10 years. The list has grown to 14 years now. But I believe the price for me and my wife was going to be $15,000 to join and $2800 a year for dues. I read that you get into the park for free and get to take the "Lilly Belle" (Disneyland RR train car built for Walt himself) into New Orleans Square. I also read somewhere that they also have a Club 33 in Hong Kong Disneyland.

My daughter and I took the "Walk In Walt's Footsteps" tour during a trip to Disneyland a couple of years ago. During the tour they take you inside Club 33 and show you around the "lobby". They will not let you go any further then that and would not allow any photo's to be taken while inside.

It is a very ritzy looking lobby. Lot's of wood and a small glass elevator that went upstairs to whatever was there.

Told at the time that it was about a 10 year wait to get in the club (as explained above).

I would love to see it, but there's no way I could afford that cost!

I'm not sure what the current initiation fee is; it also depends on what type of membership you have. The current annual dues for a gold membership is about $3,200. Also, the Club has closed the waiting list.

We did the tour this year and were able to take pictures in the lobby. And I don't think it includes entry to the park, I think you have to purchase those tickets separately.

I've been able to get into Club 33 through a work contact and I must say I feel very special when I'm there! It's fine dining and the menu varies a bit each season. I've only done the dinner which is a la carte off the menu. They also offer a lunch buffet. They usually have a beef, chicken, fish and pasta offering as the entree, a little bit of everything. The service is very attentive. You do get free entry to the park the day of your reservation, however, there's a $61 (I believe that's the current amount) minimum per person for the meal, even kids. So if you order one thing for $39 you'll still be charged the $61. I haven't had this happen as we usually go full board and have drinks, appetizers, entree and dessert. The last time we were there our server gave us each a Club 33 pen and book of matches. We were so excited, he made our day!

We are lucky enough to have reservations at Club 33 for Sunday brunch next month:thumbsup2 We are beyond excited to get to dine at this historic place. Quite a treat for the ultimate Disney geek like myself. There is another 33, however I believe it is actually at Tokyo, not Hong Kong, however I could be wrong. I'm sure we will be posting a report when we get back:cool1:

To those of you who did get to go.......
I am seething with jealousy.:snooty:

Glad to hear it was fantastic!

Yes, the other Club 33 is at Tokyo Disney and the memberships are not reciprocal.

I love the idea of Club 33 and have trying to get in for some time. What I really want though is to find someone going who can get me some Club 33 ears. If anyone is going who can pick some up for me, I will pay you, kiss your feet, babysit your kids, whatever it takes to get some happy ears :earsboy: :rotfl:

I didn't see ears last time I was there. Have you seen them? The merchandise does change. The first time I went they had shirts, hats, pens, cups, but the second time I went the selection was much more limited.

I think the first and only time I ever saw them was on a family about 6-8 months ago. I have been dying for a pair since then. I know its silly but they looked soooooo cool! They were black with just the simple 33 logo on the front.

These were available on Ebay and sold for over $50 a couple of days ago. You might want to see if you can purchase a pair there.
There's also a pair up for sale now. I'll PM you with the link.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Club 33! I felt very special and enjoyed every minute of it. I have family friends with a business contact and they surprised me for my birthday (only a few years ago, ahem).
