Time for a much over due update.

As our bags had not been delivered to the resort and it was time for our lunch ADR at Chefs, we just made the short walk over through the IG.
Of course there was time for taking photos along the way so here you go!

Just as we walked over the bridge to France we saw this topiary.

Then I saw Marie with no line, this was a first for me!

We walked over and checked in at...

There seemed to be quite a crowd waiting for noon adrs, we were just a bit early and the place was empty on the inside. So we took the pager and wandered.
We met up with Aurora.

Then the pager went off and it was time to be seated.
We ended up with a great seat by the window, the waiter seamed very nice.
We both ordered and the food started coming.

This appy was really good, sorry, we had already eaten half of it.
Poor attempt at making it look nice again.
It was bacon, onion and some yummy french cheese on a flat bread. I have no idea what it was called.
Big mistake though.
I was about full when we finished this.

Marc had the french onion soup and I had the lobster bisque.
For the main course he had the mac n cheese and I had the ham n cheese.

Normally I would have devoured this sandwich but I was full.
The dessert came with the meal so I asked if I could get the Creme Brulee' to go.
The waiter said that was "not possible".
Marc had ordered the Chocolate Mousse Cake.
He asked if he could get his to go.
French waiter said "yes".
So I said could I would just go ahead and get the Chocolate Mousse Cake to go then.
He said "I told you that was not possible".

He was not so nice anymore....
He got mad at me.
Finally he brought me the darned cake to go.

Off we went to meet up with Julia who had been texting with us and was heading into the park.

On the way we spied this mama with her babies.

We had also been texting with Michelle and were heading in their direction as well. With Marc snapping away as we walked.

We do have fairy pictures!

As we walked through the fairy garden we spied John and Michelle waiting for us!
It was so nice to meet them in person.
We started towards WS...

On our way around we saw the draw bridge being raised so the barges could go out to the lagoon for Illuminations.

Julia was able to stay with only for a short while because she had to get to MK for her work shift. We did get a photo pass picture together before saying good bye to her and promised to meet up again.

John grabbed a beer in Germany, I think....
The rest of us were wanting something from France....

Of the Grey Goose kind.
We sat around in France just visiting, John did some fragrance shopping, and Marc, Michelle and I just sat and talked and soaked up the atmosphere.
It was lovely.

Then we decided to go back to the resort. They were staying at Beach Club so we went to the private entrance.

We talked them into coming over and checking out our villa, we were just in love with it!
Our bags had been delivered so after a short visit, we did our unpacking and settling in...
I'm just going to say, we had such a fun week with John and Michelle! I'm so glad that we are going to see them again in June!

Up next for us was something that both of us were looking forward to but especially Marc!
I'll just say I didn't dress warm enough.
This left me scarred and led to purchase later in the trip.

A good number of our reader won't appreciate this event but it was fun and very humorous!

The band performing was Paul Revere and the Raiders.
Can you say tight pants?

The breeze coming off of the lake was freezing my feet but the concert was
SO MUCH FUN!

The best thing was that after it was over, we could do what ever we wanted to do!
So we went to Magic Kingdom.
We thought Harbor House sounded good.
So we went because we could.

When we got there we checked out MeMom's secret place.

We saw an expensive mouse.

An expensive castle, but then aren't most castles expensive?

By now we were really hungry so we ate.
Shrimp for me and fish and chicken for Marc.
It was late, we were tired, so back to to the resort we went.
I had plans to eat a yogurt parfait in the morning at Beach Club.

I have been super busy! Surgery, applying to schools, work! Oy! I have some downtime so I wanted to catch up.

Oh yes, it's a light fixture for sure! I think it would lovely in my living room. I want to order one. I'll have to wait until the next refurb I am sure.

We will be going to Chef's for lunch in a couple weeks. We have been there once & really liked it.

What was up with your waiter though I will be probably be too full to eat dessert every meal & we have the DXDP so I will be asking for it to go.

We will also be using the "private entrance" a lot!!

The Carnaby is pretty but honestly I can't get started on another color....
What did you get today?
Shocker and I shopped today and I'm pretty sure one of the shops I was at had something in Carnaby on the 1/2 off shelves along with the Cupcakes pink/green bags.
You won't believe it but I didn't buy anything.

I simply adore staying in an Epcot resort.
I wonder if I will like a monorail resort as well?

Hi Anita! I've read your other Trip Reports, but never posted on DIS until a few months ago when I started planning our trip for this year! I loooove reading trip reports & have learned so much from them...I feel like I'm reading the trip-report of a Celebrity now!

Its funny because right now, after reading your whole report so far, I have a million Internet Explorer windows open...one for Vera, one for ebay bracelets, one for charms, one for Target's Chi, one for laughingplacestore, and of course my many Disney sites!!!

I loooove Vera!!! My college bookstore used to have them & everytime they'd get new ones, I'd be there in a heartbeat! ha ha! Boy, I sure do miss those days!!! Luckily for me, its just a 15 minute drive down the road from my house, BUT I don't hear all the local gossip about which new ones are out as often as I used to! I guess I'll have to start getting my Vera info from DIS!

I loved your pictures from the Flower & Garden Festival. I have been to Disney so many times, but unfortunately haven't made it there for that event. Its so pretty, I'm really hoping to go someday.
