I have to tell you, he looked better in person. When we saw him in December, I didn't even notice how out of proportion his nose was.

I have to agree with you -- now when we met up in June, it was dark while we waited for Illuminations to start, so maybe that's why I missed the disproportionate nose.

Hmmmm....it was dark when we met them, too. Maybe daylight is the only time you can really tell.

Pandora does not sell Disney charms however, there is a company called Komelia that sells Disney charms that fit the Pandora bracelets

I'll check for those then!

We did MK rope drop on July 4th the summer before Brooklynn turned 2. It was a typical rope drop. We did all of Fantasyland and opened Toon Town to see some characters before heading out for lunch, pool and nap at the hotel!

I think your early morning style is a great way to beat the heat too!

So did you get the retro bracelet... it is super cute. I had to look of course.

I like your rationale for vera bags in the park.... I will once again use my backpack with my wristet. I can only wish for a smaller bag... someday!

As for your packages.. they are the very best!

And for Vera outlet sale, we will get there. We used to go on the VIP day (my mom's family lives nearby and had some ins). Now it is a bit different but still so much fun. At one point my mom was thinking about going this year....

I did get that bracelet, I can't wait to see it in person, I had a hard time deciding between Mickey and the Alice bracelet that seller had!
The backpack is really easy to carry in the parks too.
The rest of the bags are still in the research phase.....
Ohhhh, how I would love to go to that sale!

I'm going to have to check out that antenna topper springy thing! I don't have an antenna on either of my cars, but that would be fun to put on the dash or on my desk at work!

I've been debating about the hipster and mini hipster. I know I'd like the mini for the parks, but this trip will probably be carrying around a water bottle and ponchos so I might want the bigger bag. What's a girl to do??? I think I know what Wigd would say! (get both!)

Ohhhh, I need to go on a cruise now, too! I'm sure they'll be way expensive on Ebay... so why not spend a couple grand more to take a cruise?!

I'm sure purchasing it on the cruise would be so much more fun!

Hey Anita!! Happy Friday, getting closer and closer to the end of the school year!!!

I will be moving at the end of June to Austin, TX! So I have been getting things ready at the house and going to job fairs, and trying to find someplace to live there so BUSY BUSY BUSY! But I love the moments when I can come and check up on your guys and laugh at Shocker's pictures!!!!!

I just came over to tell you about the D&B bags!! They are cute....like the sketch one that I have or sketchy Hmmmm wonder if they are duty free? maybe then you wouldn't have to cancel an excursion. Or two.
The bracelet/charms that I have are Chamilia and yes I think they do fit on the Pandora. Cute stuff

What incredible photos! It's neat to see pineapple. I'm from the midwest and never considered how it grows but apparently that isn't what I was thinking cuz it sorta shocked me. Very cool. We are headed to the Flower and Garden Festival next week and these pics make me so excited to get there!!! My daughter is very interested in seeing the Fairy garden. I just loved the tea cups! How clever.

The fairy garden is just adorable, we have lots of pictures but probably won't get them up before you leave, be sure to visit it, just outside of the butterfly garden, behind Mousegears.

Chi's are expensive, but they're worth it! I bought a cheap flat iron once, and it didn't do anything effectively... the Chi works so much better.

The Chi is the best! Worth every penny!

Metro (Nashville) starts TCAP this coming week. Since I moved to second grade, this time of year has become SO much less stressful!


Trent was impressed when he went to visit them. I hope he didn't get the deluxe fever too badly, though. He said it was very, very nice!


Good Saturday morning, Wigd and Shocker! Hope you guys have a nice day. We are going to go by Margot's birthday party and then go to the mall, probably.

Our school just finished our state testing this week, Baylor was glad to be finished.
He was pleased to meet standards in reading and exceed in math.
We all walked softly around the building while testing was happening and breathed a sigh of relief when it was over. It takes an entire building to do well but as a teacher that has taught a level that takes assessments I know the stress those grade levels are under.
I must say I don't miss being there.


I was up Thursday spending points we don't have yet....
We should hear back on the new contract early next week.
Plotting as I say.
We might have points that have to be used by next December.
Not sure how we can possibly use them all...
So the plotting continues.
Hope we get the contract....

And for all the Vera lovers - I actually saw Stacy and Clinton throw some out on an episode of What Not to Wear. They went in the trash with a few pairs of brightly colored crocs. Is that possible?
