Pocket size disposable ponchos are always handy when it starts to rain in town or on some of the walking adventures. Waterproof hiking boots or hiking sneakers for just about all shore excursions and several pairs of good, thick socks. For any excursion that is moving (whale watching boat, dog sled, zip line, etc.) dress for wind chill: a good outer shell and layers underneath, beanie hat, gloves, and scarf. Inside the ship is about the same as all the others for MDR attire. If you like to stroll the decks after dinner, good warm sweater because the ship will be moving. You don't need to pack a lot of anything because under the outer shell, no one knows you've worn the same university sweatshirt all cruise long.
