Have you received your closing docs yet? Or is your contract on a delayed closing?

Just trying to see the timeline for DVCRM and Magic Vacation title.

Today is day 22 since we passed ROFR through both companies you listed.

Still have not received closing docs. I saw another poster was around 23 calendar days that was about a week ahead of us for ROFR approval so I’m hoping early next week.

I did email the title company and let them know we are trying to travel in September. They responded once and said they would check with the closer, I followed up 2 weeks later and they said that they were extremely busy and we should hopefully have them this week which has came and went now.

I’m really hoping Monday we have docs in our email.

We did get ours on Wednesday. I do believe it was only to keep us because I had to contact them to withdraw for unforeseen circumstances and wanted to be honest. We did end up staying and managing to work our situation out but found the timing suspicious

FYI: my contract showed up on Friday (4/7) also. I called Saturday, and MS could(would) not load my points. I'm hoping they populate on Monday, and that I don't have to call again and beg for Pixie Dust!
Your path was a lot shorter than mine - My offer date was 2/1 vs yours at 3/3 - I lost a month due to communications and settlement errors with https://www.masontitle.com

I'm on the phone with MS now - I called yesterday and was unlucky (told to "give it a couple days").
I was going to wait until tomorrow to call again but, seeing your Easter-Pixie-Dust, I just called in.
A very nice CM put me on hold . . . and . . . . .(waiting as I type) . . .
It's an Easter Miracle , she just picked up as I was typing this, and my points are now Loaded !!!!!

She picked up immediately, and was happy to have someone call her - she said I was only her 2nd caller of the day.
I assume a lot of folks thought they were closed today, or they are all busy with Easter activities.
She put me on a brief hold, and came back with the good news that she sprinkled Pixie Dust all over me,
and all of my new BWV points were loaded.
I have, since, finished my 2024 booking, using all of the banked BWV points that were just loaded.
I had to pay premium for the first 2N in a 1BR (BW-View), followed by 7N in a studio (G/P View).
We'll take advantage of the Washer/Dryer in the 1BR, as it's at the tail-end of our winter stay, and we can eliminate 1 Day at the DVC laundromat that way It will also be our first time in a BW-View room;
I'm hoping we will have a view of the EPCOT Fireworks.
OK - now off to help DW finish the Prep for our family Easter Dinner...........

The title company delay, no doubt, cost me the delta between Studio & 1BR availability for 2 of the February 2024 dates I had been waiting to book. (And possibly caused me to miss the WOO for grabbing Standard View).

Correct. Once you're closed then it's officially yours. Check the comptroller site later today and you should see yours recorded and present there.
