I just got my first email with the activation code today (yay), waiting for the second email with member ID. This is my first contract.. and once I have both emails and added the contract to my account, can I call the member services to load the points into the account? I remember reading from somewhere that there is something I need to wait before calling the member services...

From my experience they wont try to load same day, but I have had success the following day.

Also a first timer, also at Aulani, and also used First American Title - closed/deed recorded on 10/11 and got my Activation Code early this morning, but haven't gotten the email with the Membership ID yet. Hopefully you get yours soon!

If its the same use year it will be the same. If a different use year to will be different.

If the new contracts are titled the same and have the same UY, they’ll be in the same membership. If either UY or owners are different, they’ll be in a new membership but will be accessed via drop down box on your existing DVC member website.

Your Club ID is separate from membership number, and you only get one Club ID no matter how many contracts you own.

Thanks for the info, so the one that I am waiting for right now is the club id and a long with the activation code the membership will be added to my account?

Update! I'm very happy with DVC Title and Escrow/Closings for a super quick close once the seller finally submitted his docs. I'm not sure what the 19-day delay was—I'll never know—but it's on its way to Disney and soon to me! Woohoo!!

Took 1 week to get documents after passing ROFR this time. Not as bad as before. I signed mine with notarization within 5 hours. Mobile notary is SO EASY!! Hoping the seller is as motivated as me

Did you need a notary as a buyer? I just signed everything via Docusign and notary was not needed.

Has anyone else seen a long wait time between getting their activation code and club ID emails? I received the activation code last Saturday, but still no club ID. I called in a few days ago and they basically just told me to keep waiting.. which is trying really hard to do!

I would feel fine calling every few days, they expect a new member to be excited Like a lot of small businesses (sarcasm) they seem to speed up and slow down processing frequently, I assume based on staffing. With the Poly Tower opening, they may have staffed up and down for that. I promise when you start going on your trips you'll have long since forgotten this miserable wait!
