Wonder what is going on over there in Member Admin. Was there some crazy number of resale contracts sold? The updates are just trickling in super slow now and they were pretty fast not long ago.

I have been tracking for sale inventory since late March via www.dvcforless.com and www.dvcrofr.com. Total listings are down from a high of 2000 on March 28th to 1480 as of today. Disney could easily be dealing with 500 plus resales right now via ROFR and activations. Those numbers don't include contracts that the aggregators can't see.

Yes, 500 PLUS the additional contract that are added each day, let’s say an average of 10 per day so another 800 or so!

Another data point to add to the confusing picture...

6/4: Disney notified of change of ownership.
6/4: Orange County California, recorded the grant deed.
6/14: I emailed DVC Member Admin, and they replied that they are, "still waiting on the final payoff wire from the third party company you used."

I suspect there is probably some lag in the internal DVC notification process, but it is possible there may be some title company delays too. At least I have months before I need the points.

I also had a 5/23/24 Deed Recorded date, and I got both my Activation Code and Club ID emails last night, Exactly 3 weeks from the recorded date. No points yet, but at least I'm "official." WOO-HOO

Ours was recorded 5/23 We got our Disney emails Thursday and the points loaded yesterday

So weird there would be a delay like that with no finance involved.

Maybe it is due to the seller’s original loan needing payoff. Like, the title company will wire some of the closing money to pay off the seller’s Disney financing. This is just a guess though.

Couldn't agree more. The waiting is no fun, but all those extra thousands are good company while we do....
