We will be staying off grounds from December 27th - January 3rd. How frequently should we expect the parks to close due to capacity? Is it limited to just New Year's Eve?

For New Years Eve, how early do we need to get into Magic Kingdom? Is Epcot any better? If so, what time do we need to show up?

Thanks a bunch! :)

At least one hour before offical opening of park and que up ASAP.I think NYE is only day you would have during your stay that park might close due to capacity.:wave2:

If you don't make MK opening then I highly suggest trying Epcot or MGM. All three have wonderful fireworks/NYE programs. NYE will probably be the only day during your trip that the parks might hit capacity.

I would consider it likely that MK will close due to capacity on NYE. Epcot, on the other hand, can accommodate huge crowds and still remain open.

If you go to MK, go before opening and plan to stay without a break. It's going to be shoulder to shoulder, but if you don't mind 'festive', it could be fun. At least you can say you've done it!
