Linnette, someone posted a week or so ago that they had successfully washed their mat and blow dried it to make it sticky again. Also I think JoAnn's has cricut cartridges for 39.99 this week.

Yay on the Cricut! I have bought some extra mat, and cartridges from http://www.customcrops.com . A lot of their cartridges are $29.99 and their mat are also on sale now (has been for a while, I think).

I have also read that you can use baby wipes to wipe to mat to get it sticky again? I have not tried it though...I guess I haven't used my Cricut enough, but I will be this weekend to cut out the title for my dd's kindergarten science project for the science fair!

I wash my mats and then resticky them with a big zig glue marker. For cartridges I say ebay or www.creativexpress.com or www.hallmarkscrapbook.com CreativeExpress will pricematch any sales that you find. I've gotten some good carts that way.

BTW : I've gotten pm's about the booties I made , I purchased a felt pattern on etsy but I had to change it to make them fabric, I was telling Crystal that I needed to check and make sure that it was ok, to post a free tutorial about the fabric ones, (Idid change the original shoe pattern ...I do not know if that can be considered original??)

I also have a lot of pm's that I need to check , so If I have not answered some , I am not ignoring anyone , I am a little lazy when it comes to my emails and I am going thru a little depressing state that is not good for my budget,,,,,

Sounds like alot of issues with online cricut sellers. I ordered from Making Memories the monday after Thanksgiving. Nothing, ever came, no communication or anything. Christmas Eve I emailed and finally got a response, she didn't have the items in stock! She offered a refund but was not quick to process it until I opened a paypal claim. I also didn't like that she only took paypal.

I will probably try customcrops.com next time and see what happens. The prices are great.

Because I am totally OCD, I actually bought the matching wrapping paper to use as our "santa paper", but Isaac (DS3) saw it, so I couldn't use it.

I am almost done with Nik's V day skirt. I REALLY wanted to applique a tshirt for the top to go with it but I couldn't find any long sleeved that would match! So what does a good Disboutiquer do make one!
Any way I am making Carla's flouncy skort.
Do you think a Round neck shirt would be ok with it? Or a pillow case dress /shirt? Or should I do my beloved Carla's peasant top with some variations? Like straight sleeves????
I know bot are sleeveless but i have shirts she could wear under it i just don't want to applique those shirts because they go with other outfits.

If any one has any other ideas that would be great I am drawing a blank! When i saw the material I saw one shirt with the skort and now I can't find it. then again I do have some short sleeve t's I could just do and she could wear a long sleeve under it????

Time for a rant:

DH has a reason each day for us to go back to WDW. I love Disney but I need and want a good used car more. I just wish he would stop. I told him to please stop telling me about the AP offers, 4/3 offers, 40% code offer.

This morning he came up with taking DS to Disney for his birthday rather than worrying about the party. I would rather have no one show up and spend $100 for a home party then go to Disney and spend $3K! So he says lets go to Vero Beach and sit on the beach. To be that close to Disney and not go, be real.

Call me stupid but I am going to be the voice of reason. I need and want a good used car and I am not going to Disney. I am saving for a car! I swear...MEN!!!!

Be stron April!!! Is he having Disney withdrawls? You said you use to go quite a bit, right? You know you are doing the right thing, don't listen to him!

I'm really excited, because we were thinking we'd rent a van and drive down. The cheapest rental van I could find was right around $700 (since we needed to both be able to drive it), and then the gas would be $300 or so. With the car we'll need to rent down there, I figure we will probably come out about even AND we don't have to drive 19 hours! PLUS!!! Brian told me to do it, so he can't complain about it!! BONUS!!

That's is really exciting. We are waiting to see what kind of deals they have for October and November before we decide if we are going. We may go to NY if we are able to move to where we want to. Yes, I have one of those kids as well. Ella is constantly "clowning." She'll do anything for a laugh, even if it includes bodily harm. I don't know what to do with her! She really does have great comedic timing and I'm always saying that we need to get her into acting or something!

I want to make the raglan hoodie for my nephew. I bought some flannel fabric to use, is there anything I need to know to do different since I'm using flannel? I've never made this pattern so any help would be appreciated!

I haven't done this with Carla's pattern but I have raglan pj pattern and I have used flannel with and it's been fine. As long as you use knit ribbing for the collar it should work.

2.I havent' spyed on Arminda's email for a few days! I need to go check it out! (She told me I could read any email she sends or gets. Not that I wouldn't have anyway!) I told her she should send a picture of the snow to Jacob, I didn't know she did! We have more snow than when she sent the picture though.
3.It's nice to LOOK at, but it's soooo sooooo sooooo sooooooooo COLD!!! It's 5below with the windchill today, and suppose to get colder tomorrow. We have a "windchill warning from tonight to tomorrow". In other words, if you are out more than a few minutes with exposed skin, you will probably get frostbite or worse!
