So far no luck on this at all. Pop had no fridge with my name on it and could not find the coffee pot the last swapper left. I even went in the the back with them and looked.

The swapper from the other swap (I am assuming) has our fridge and I have no idea where theirs is. I will keep trying to get in touch with the person who has our fridge and see if we can at least reclaim it for the next swapper.

With any luck Pop luggage services will get themselves sorted out really soon. It's a shame that they're not taking care of things as they should be.

Jeez!!!! I definitely handed the coffee pot to a CM and told them to store it! I put a nice printed label on the top with YOUR name, res #, check in date, AND phone number!! It's in a Famous Amos cookie box with LGMH's on 2 sides. I even wrote the swap name right ON the maker and pot and put some Disney stickers on it.

I think POP definitely must just be giving stuff to who ever asks for one without any regard to labels. You would think they could handle storing a box that is CLEARLY labeled for a certain person at a certain time and not give it away to someone else!!!

I am signed up for this fridge, and have been for many months. I am a little worried now that I may not have a fridge I was counting on! I see the pic of the fridge that has turned up, and now someone else is claiming it belongs to a different swap. How do you handle this situation? I know I will never find another swap at this point, we leave in less than two weeks. Just wondering what the protocol is, this is my first trip ever to Disney, and I don't want this to cause a problem or conflict, but I would love to have the fridge as scheduled if it is truly our swaps fridge. Any advice would be appreciated!

I haven't heard from DisneyDadNY yet. But he's just getting back...hopefully we'll get an update soon. If he wasn't able to get our fridge back, we'll continue to work w/ the other swap to try to set things right.

We KNOW our fridge is there WITH our box that is clearly labeled w/ our swap name. The other swap leader is working with me to try to get us our fridge...but it seemed their swapper wasn't being as cooperative this past week.

Not sure there IS a protocol...POP clearly isn't abiding by the rules and seem to be handing out fridges to the wrong people. The problem with this is that the swappers aren't checking labels & are taking them.

Trust me, I am doing everything I possibly can from NY to try to get things back on track...if I could I'd fly down there & handle it myself, but that's not a possibility. I want you to have this fridge as much as you do!! And I have faith that we'll get it back...

I'm with you, Wendy! This is our second trip to Disney, but the first using a swap. We'll be there Dec 12-19 and I also really hope it turns up. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed and hope for a little .

Just an update...haven't heard anything from anyone...as of right now I don't know if we have a fridge. Not much of an update...but there it is. I haven't heard back from DisneyDadNY on whether or not he was successful. We have a swapper there now I haven't heard from, so I don't know ANYTHING! Just thought I'd share...

The one you had was one that came to our swap somehow but it wasn't ours. LOL Our fridge, IN the box our swapper made WITH the coffeepot, was picked up "accidentally" before that by another swap somehow along the way. They'd been using it.

Remember I said I couldn't understand how that beautiful box could disappear? Well, it didn't. We've been trying to get it back, but I haven't gotten a response from the last 2 swappers to see if we were successful. It's very frustrating...

The fridge you had disappeared w/ the rest. 2 or 3 swappers after you reported they had no fridge for them, and bell services gave them some random fridge to use that had no name on it...after that things quickly fell apart.

Not sure where we stand...hoping to hear SOME news from someone. I need to know if we should put this thread to rest...and let the swappers try to find a new swap for their trips...or if we're still alive here.

Their swap leader quit & it's been taken over by another leader. She is aware it's ours & doesn't seem to care. It's personal now...

Hi there...

If you are referring to me and being 'personal'... I just rec'd your PM today and wasn't made aware by the other 'leader' that it's your fridge or you are claiming it.

All I know is that I was willing to take it over from someone who couldn't do it anymore. I haven't read the forums in over a month - came online to check who'd swap it to me on my vacation and have come online to a huge amount of 'he said she said'.

Please don't assume that I KNEW ANYTHING about this and I don't seem to care! That's a HUGE assumption... As I stated in my PM to you this evening, i've contact the other leader.

I was just trying to help everyone out and keep things moving.
