We were going to go do the Safari in the morning before Blizzard Beach as we really do not need to do AK this year, girls are 3 and 5 and they did not love the park last year.

I see that the two sometimes share a bus from WL. Does anyone recall the order of the drop of? We went from Ak to Boma last year so I am not sure if there is a stop after it. Just trying to think of the easiest way to get to Blizzard beach from the park. I doubt there is a bus that goes there, so I am thinking we may need to go to AKL and then BB?

We stayed at the Poly in August & the bus from AK stopped at BB on our way back to the Resort, Poly guests like WL guests are being given passes to BB in lieu of no feature pool at the resort, I'm guessing the bus to AK is acting as a shuttle between BB & the Resorts in question.

There is a bus direct from AK to BB. No need to wander the world! It may share with a resort but you'll see BB as a destination.

Also, I'm fairly certain that all the buses going to the MK resorts, and probably most other resorts as well, will make a stop at BB when coming from AK but you could just ask before getting on. Anyway - the buses flash their destinations and if it is showing BB and then some other place when you are standing at the AK bus stop it will be stopping at BB first since that's the first in line to all other locations (except AKL).

My husband and I have been planning a 30th birthday (mine) trip to WDW for a few months and were booked at CSR Business Class Dec 5-10, 2014. I recently found out about the travel agency offering really good deals for next year and checked them out and they actually had a deal for our dates, so now we are our changing to Wilderness Lodge. I'm SO EXCITED! The price difference only worked out to be $80. We have been to Disney once before on our honeymoon and stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge which was amazing and I was worried about how we would feel going down to a moderate. I'm not a fan of the outdoor hallways. Anyway, so we will be staying in a Standard View room. I am wondering if someone can help me with a room request. I would like to avoid the truck loading areas, that's my biggest concern. Thank you!

Congratulations on booking! If you've booked a Standard View room and you do not want to be near the loading dock/smokehouse, request a South Wing room. Those rooms overlook the bus stop and VWL with woods in the distance and the parking area is off to the right.

Just keep trying and a table might open up when you are closer to your trip. I've been trying to get a dinner reservation for this Friday and finally, after weeks of no availability, a table has finally opened up.

I just have to share this with someone! We booked a deluxe club level room for May 2-10, 2015 at rack rate. It was painful, but I was hoping that the room would be included in the room only discounts that will come out eventually or we would get a AAA discount or SOMETHING. Well, for the first time I can remember I got an offer code postcard in the mail. I called tonight, and it worked! We saved 35% off of the room, which ended up being around a $2500 savings! I was so excited, I had figured it wouldn't work on a deluxe room or something. So now i can relax, as I doubt I'll get anything better (but of course I'll keep an eye on it anyway )

Well, we checked in today! Our room was actually ready when we arrived at 8:30 a.m.! We went to AK and MK for MNSSHP! It was awesome I did take some pics of the construction from our room. We are on the 6th floor with a courtyard view. I will try to post them tomorrow. We couldn't really hear the construction from our room while watching tv, but it was loud on our balcony! Can't wait to see what the next few days has in store for us!

I am doing the same! Booking today on a deal through a travel agency for Dec 27 to Jan 1 in standard view. We were originally booked at POR in a Royal Suite. Thanks for the pic. I have never had a standard view but I will take it in order to be at the lodge during xmas!

We have stayed there before always in a courtyard view room. I am going to request inner courtyard as we like to have a view of the electric water pageant. Previously, we've always been assigned a room in the right-hand wing (same side as the elevators off the lobby). I'm not sure if that's the north or south wing? And does it matter in regards to the view of the water pageant? Thanks so much!!

Sounds like you've been staying in the South Wing. We've stayed on both sides of the upper/ inner courtyard (CL) and the views are very similar ... either side will probably have some of the floats blocked a bit but it's still a nice view and show.
