Are guests from the swan/dolphin allowed to use BWI pools??? We are sharing our timeshare rooms with family and our cousins are staying at the swan. It would be great if we could have a pool day together but I don't know if BWI allows this....:confused3

Thanks,
Tracy
Their Pools are reserved for only guests staying at the BWI/BWV.

Plus during the summer months on the weekends they give out wristbands at the Luna Park Pool to make sure only BWI/BWV guests are the ones using it. When I stayed at the BWI in August/September 2011 I asked a Lifeguard why they were giving out wristbands? He told me Orlando locals were coming there and taking up all the chairs from the BWI/BWV guests.

Hi chimo! It's a little different from BC, where the elevators go right up to the club lounge and only club level rooms are on that floor. At BWI, the elevators are down the hall from the CL desk and then after you go through the Innkeeper's Club door, the lounge is a little further down the hall. But it's not far and still very convenient!

During my first BWI CL stay in August 2010 I thought it would hard to navigate around their hallways and getting to the elevator, however I got use to them very fast.

Now since you reserved a Deluxe Room another thing to remember is you could be on the 3rd or 4th floor, so that would mean having to figure out the hallways of both floors and their distances to either elevators.

Well I think the 3rd floor might seem a bit more complicated because of the weird turns at certin points, although in August 2010 I was in a Deluxe Room on the 3rd floor (3229) and like I said before I got use to it very fast. As for the 4th floor I found it to be more direct and the only turn is just before that Innkeeper's Club door/Cast Member desk area.

:goodvibes Thank you to both of you! it's true, I was a little concerned about learning a confusing layout....glad to hear it's not too bad! I am requesting a fourth floor room, I know it's only a request, but I'll sacrifice a larger balcony for being closer to the lounge and not having other rooms above my head :) I am very excited for our stay....only 8 more months to go! :yay:

Actually there is also the 5th floor of rooms at the BWI. However I have never walked down the hallway up there, so I am not sure about it's layout and if it goes above where the Deluxe Rooms on the 4th floor are located. So if you stay on the 4th floor you might have other rooms over your head.

Thanks for letting me know. I knew that BC/YC had no pool hopping but I wasn't sure about BW. Maybe we can meet up with them at the swan/dolpin pool. It will be in February so not sure if it will be warm enough for a lot of pool time anyways.

Yes we got the whole pizza at the Boardwalk Pizza Window. You can get a slice of pizza, drink and dessert for one credit or a whole pizza, two drinks and two desserts for two credits. The dessert options were the chocolate cake and carrot cake available at most CS in Disney World. Someone was trying to buy a piece of pizza for snack credit but the CM said that drinks were the only option for a snack credit.
Thanks for the info! :goodvibes
How many slices are in a whole pizza?
How big are the single slices?
We'll be there in March and LOVE pizza!

:thanks:

We are back and DID enjoy our stay at the BWVs very much. :thumbsup2

We had room(s) 1129/1131 on the first floor, pretty much as far from the lobby as possible, probably because we were there through RCI. Anyway, we didn't mind the location of the room. It was still much less walking than some of our other stays at, say, the CBR. And it was a pretty quick outdoor walk to the bus stop.

After staying here and at the Poly, you just can't say enough about location and transportation options. However, either we had extreme good luck or something wonderful is going on with the buses because we never waited more than 5-7 minutes - even for the Downtown Disney bus! Yes, the DD bus!! The Downtown Marketplace bus stop was closed during our trip which was a bit of a hassle, hopefully we walked off some extra Disney calories though.

We also enjoyed being able to walk to the other Epcot resorts right there. Got to visit all of them and finally eat at Beaches & Cream. Never would have happened if we weren't in walking distance. Also ate at ESPN and Big River, enjoyed both. Wanted to do Kouzzina but couldn't fit it in. Also wanted something from Wyland but no one wanted to buy it for me.

Both check-in and check-out went very smooth and quickly, something you may not think about unless you ever have a problem. Guess that's about it, miss it already. And my mid-morning Disney snack...

Is the sofa bed in the deluxe room really lumpy and creaky??? I just read a review on trip advisor that this was one of the complaints.....I guess maybe I should have my two teen sons share the other queen bed, as they are both pretty big, and have my tiny/ approx 5 foot BFF use the sofa bed, since shell be the smallest and lightest out of every one!

I don't want anyone to have to have a lumpy, creaky, uncomfortable bed though!

Anyone slept on them that can chime in as to the condition/ comfort?

Thanks for posting you're review.

Has anyone had cases of water delivered to BWV recently?
We always order a few cases of water from COSTCO and have them delivered to our resort...we have done this numerous times @Pop Century but since this will be our first time at BWV I wasn't sure if the procedure was the same?

We are heading to the Boardwalk next week for our first stay there! We have a std CL room booked. I was going to email concierge with a room request for a boardwalk view. From what I have read are they on both the 3rd and 4th floors? Just want to make sure I put in the accurate request. We are so excited to go for DH's birthday!!! Thank you, this thread is GREAT!

Anyone stayed in the deluxe room who can comment on the comfort of the pullout couch?

Thanks! :goodvibes

All their Standard Club Level Rooms are only located on the 4th floor.

It was good to sit on after a nice day of walking, but I don't think that's what you're looking for. :confused3

We are arriving in Orlando around 8pm on 2/28. We have a room at a Marriott booked for that night because we were thinking we didn't want to spend the money (about $250 more) for our BWI CL room for a few hours. Now we are going back and forth about whether to go for it and just check in at BWI on 2/28 so we can be ready to go the next AM.

I am NOT assuming I will receive any sort of upgrade, but if that were to happen, do you think it would be more likely in the AM or does it matter at all the time of check in?

:confused::confused3:eek:

Whenever a guest is given a free upgrade that decision is made a few days before, so it's the only thing which makes them random when they do happen.

Also I have not read of any guests who reserved a Standard Club Level Room and got upgraded to a Deluxe Room, Garden Suite and etc.

The pull out couch is a little nicer than a standard pull out. The whole couch flips out. The seat area flips out and makes the bottom part of the bed and I do not remember it having springs. My kids always fight over who has to sleep on the pull out. My two older ones slept there the 1st night and just stayed there the whole time since they did not think the bed uncomfotable (and they liked having their own TV.)
That being said, the regular beds are some of the most comfortable I have slept in and you get lots of comfy pillows!!

I honestly cannot remember how many slices there were but I think it was 10. I cannot comment on the single serving slice because I never saw one. It was nice to have a late night option!
