Hi Maria - I'm hoping you've just been too busy to post. According to the USPS site, the package was delivered yesterday morning. Please tell me it was delivered to you and not someone on the other side of town! j/k

BTW - It looks like old MCP got one up on me. I'd dropped it off at the post office on Tuesday morning, but I noticed yesterday morning (when I ws checking to see if it had arrived yet) that it said it didn't enter the system untnil nearly 4:30 on Wednesday!

I printed out that page & the next time I get over there I'm going to take it along with my DC slip & show them to the postmaster. I've about had it with this guy!!

I actually got it today. DBF brought the package in and I just found it!!!!

Yes, I am going to send everything out probably Fri or Sat morning. More likely Sat morning, since it has just been absolutly CRAZY here at work and I am also closing on my mortgage today. I have been running around like a chicken with it's head cut off!!! Not knowing which way to turn!
I will not be on the board again today, so will check in tomorrow morning!!!

Hi All!

I've been in contact with Maria. She is alive and well, but very exhausted and transportationless.

Her truck is in the shop. She's been relying on the kindness of others to get her to and from work. She should have her truck back to her by Tuesday the 21st.

Everything is packaged and ready to go.

She has also been working lots of overtime and not been able to DIS at work and is too tired to do at home.

That is the biggest crime of overtime there is. How dare they make you so tired you can't DIS?!! It would be like cutting my arm off.

So there you have it. Another saga of how real life gets in the way of the one we would rather be in.

For what it's worth, I'd also be willing to drive to get the books if that would help out. I'm not sure whether Buffy or I is closer to her - I think it's pretty close. If anyone does call her, you can make that offer.
