The remote broke..and of course it's everyone elses fault.. well, the truth of the matter is.. it malfunctioned..the front was on fire...and the batteries were good...because it worked in another remote (VCR).. so he manages to get the TV blasting while I'm checking homework..than proceeds to yell at all of us cause the remote broke...and than slams the door.. to which I suggest maybe he needs to run to town and buy an new one (see man smilie that should be smacking his head repeatedly for not knowing the correct answer)..I continue to check homework.. he continues to #$#%$#.. so I load up the van.. tell the boys to grab showers and run to town before CVS closes to buy new remote... that he complains that all HE does is buy new things for this house.. WEll, you may be buying a NEW wife momentarily because this one is about done! To which he went storming off to said doghouse!
The kicker to why he was sitting at the dog house door anyway.. he forgot to schedule tomorrow off as requested 1 month ago so DD can get her braces off..and he could pick up our friend's dd from kdg. because she is out of town!

AH yes!!! Dh needed that last night. He was being a grump and storming around in the barn and tripped over the lawn mover and scrapped his back on a bike peddle. I laughed at him, served him right for being in a you know whaty mood. LOL

I too stressed and bought extra supplies for these, and you don't want to know what my postage was!

I'm sure Maria has a genuine reason for the delay, as she's always been efficient-ish in the past. I wanted to give these to by boys and nephews/niece to do a holiday journal, but its a bit late now as they're back to school

I just hope they come back soon!

Ditto to everything that has been said so far. I also invested ALOT of time and money into my books. I spent so much extra time on each of them to make them special for AWM and Yodasmom. I even made a corgi tear puppy! my first and last..lol.. That thing took me hours to make. I know I am no where near the same ball park as most of you but I try.

My DH does not say a word about me being in swaps or how much I spend getting all the supplies but when things like this happen he is just as unhappy as I am one because he has to listen to me and the other because he hears the "cha ching" go down the toliet.

I am trying to be optimistic about getting these back and darn it anyways i saw the pictures of the 2 books made for me and I want them.

Maria's gone above and beyond for me before to help with a swap, so I'm sure its just this whole house/work thing getting in the way.

Doesn't mean I don't want my stuff back though! Hopefully she'll be back in action soon

I got nothing.... no pm's no return phone call... maybe if we all start calling her every hour... (kinda reminds me of the intern we didn't like one year at work... we saran wrapped the door of his call room and then called him like every 10 mins, we finally told him he had to come into the nursery... that was pretty funny, we all stood in the hallway and watched him "smack" into the saran wrap, he bounced backwards by the way... ok I have no idea why that thought popped into my head but it's a funny story nevertheless. ) nothing like some odd humour here eh? maggie

OOOOOOOOO how cuteeeeee! I hope you like the book I made just for you I know you will grace the pictures wonderfully.

On a side note, I'd LOVE to see finished books when you all get done with them. I know as soon as I get mine Charlie and I are going to do a photo shoot and get them filled up!
