My Church said:...And forgive us our tresspasses,
As we forgive those who tresspass against us.....
Nanoer said:LOL! Yet Christianity does this about other religons all the time. Like the Pope did a while back.
Nanoer said:By "our christ" your saying that everyone believes in it which first and foremost defys that law which means that if your saying it's ok to do that then your also saying it's ok for them to do stuff like that since what your doing breaks the first amendment.

And he is our Christ, whether you believe in him or not...

VirtuallyMe said:Roman Catholics are Christians...
But not all Christians are Catholics... so that is where the pope comment wouldn't carry to everyone.
And frankly I think Jesus Himself would have laughed at this

A "Christian" newspaper printed a comic which clearly made fun of the Muslim Prophet Mohammed. Is this ok? But then a non-Christian making fun of Jesus is not?
Seriously, my religion is ridiculed day in and day out by Christian, Mulsims, Hebrews etc, but I take it in stride, they are allowed their say because we live is a country where you are not only allowed to choose your own religion, but also allowed to say whatever you please as long as it does not incite violence or intimidate others to believe you will be violent towards them.
If our system of government is not good enough for you, I suggest you look into joining a theocracy where religion is the primary focus of government. For example: Iran, where if you utter a word against the religion, you are killed on sight. Or Saudi Arabia, where if a woman goes out in public without her husband or father and without her face covered, she gets 10 lashes with a whip. Or you could go to Somalia where if you are a woman, you are not allowed to learn to READ. - Each one of those countries has a rule of religious law. Dissent is not tolerated. You are either of their religion, or you are killed. Is that the kind of system you want to live in?
I kind of like this sytem we have now, where I can pray to my Goddess and noone can tell me otherwise.
