Just waiting for the paperwork on a resale at BCV. Excited and nervous at the same time - not due to the cost/that is not an issue. We have a 5 year old and a 4 month old and we all (well, not the 4-month old yet) love Disney and go once a year and love the YC/BC hotels. The nervousness comes in -- how different things will be not able to choose from all the hotels anymore but always having to stay at a DVC (yes I know I'm strange). -- 150 points, December use year. Beach Club Villa fans, give me a pep talk to get the excitement end of things to take over and the nerves to go away.

Congratulations on getting a BCV contract, they're snapped up quickly!

We had a wonderful BCV stay earlier this month, and I will try to use my points there whenever we're going in weather that could possibly be described as swimming weather! Storm along bay is the best! Enjoy! The Character Breakfast looked like loads of fun for all. There are turtles and baby ducks in the water. You are so close to Epcot, it's a beautiful resort. The Magnolia Graniforas were beautiful and fragrant.

Take deep breaths and think, I'm a lucky duck, BCV is my HOME!

You will still get a selection of hotels, just not a full selection.

A lot of us fly in Friday night or Saturday and book that first weekend at our favorite resort on cash. Saves points and allows people to get their Poly fix. So you will still be able to do it.

Also, we like to eat in the hotel restaurants. A Poly fix can be gotten by eating at the Kona Cafe. A Grand Floridan Fix from eating at Narcoosees.

You can pool hop (provided you aren't at peak seasons and the perk remains in effect) to other resorts as well.

and when you don't want to stay in your new HOME you can rent your points out and do whatever else you want .

You sound like I did-a little sad because there were certain Disney hotels I just loved and sort of sad not to be staying there anymore. But now, after 2 years as members, I look back and can't imagine staying in a "room" anymore. The DVC Villas are just so far superior, relaxing, and ideal especially if you have a family. The kitchen, the washer/dryer (in your unit or, if you have a studio, as I have had, laundry room is so convenient and seems to be always available), I've encountered the friendliest CMs there (some people here disagree, but I've met some super ones) And BCV is my favorite. Are you a little nervous about less housekeeping? I was-VERY! Surprisingly, I love it now. Relax-you'll wonder how you lived without DVC for so long.

That's just what i needed. I KNOW how lucky we are to get a BCV home resort. Now on to worry about all the paperwork getting done and passing ROFR. Thanks again. Looking forward to being your neighbor...........
