Hello all! I'm Alexa, looking forward to "meeting" everyone. I have a DS 3 and a DD4 as well as a DH who sometimes acts as if he's 13 . DS and DD are twelve and a half months apart and love to play together. I'm getting anxious about DD starting Kindergarten this year - I can't imagine DS without her all day every day!

I came on the DIS because I love Disney (duh!) and love to learn from and share info with others. Pass the Splenda please!

Thanks! So far it hasn't been too bad returning to work. It's nice to see my little students after all the time off. And I even received more Christmas gifts from students who were out of town the last day I was here.

to all of our new posters!!!!

It is my last day of winter break! I'm not sad about going back to school tomorrow, but I am sad that I'll have to get up early! I love me some extra sleep. I'm pretty excited about seeing my students again, though.

I think I'll spend today doing a little housework because there's nothing better than a deep cleaned house. I have an obsession with cleaning and can't feel relaxed until everything is "just so". It'll also be nice for DH to come home and think I actually did something today!

What's everyone having for dinner tonight? I need to ditch a few pounds and have really been watching what I've been eating, so I need something yummy but low in carbs and calories. I was thinking taco salad made with ground chicken sans the shell?? I also need to run to the store to stock up my classroom fridge with some healthy snacks and lunch items.

I couldn't agree more! My just turned 5 year old is off until Monday, and I'm actually looking forward to the QUIET in my classroom compared to his hyper self the past few days!

I also have become addicted to buying scrapbooking supplies! Shhhh, don't tell my dh! I even got a cricut for christmas along with a disney princess cartridge! I'm so excited to play with it. but first I have to reclaim my house from christmas crap! So what am I doing??

That's one obsession I've never started! I'm actually afraid to start buying stuff because I know how I can get! Maybe once I'm done with graduate school.

Good Morning Ladies (I am assuming we are all ladies lol) I just crawled my butt out of bed. That is one of the things about getting older and not working, be as lazy as you want.

As for dinner I don't cook either. DH and I go out for a late lunch and then grab what we can find for dinner, soup sandwich etc.

BTW I don't do windows either!!!!!! Guess what I do all day. Yep play on the puter, go eat lunch, and SHOP.

Oh yeah we got about a 1/2 inch of snow last night. First we have seen this season.
