I see a ROACH EWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!

I HATE bugs!!!

BTW, I'm not meeting dress code this morning...no holes in my clothing.

What's everyone having for dinner tonight? I need to ditch a few pounds and have really been watching what I've been eating, so I need something yummy but low in carbs and calories. I was thinking taco salad made with ground chicken sans the shell?? I also need to run to the store to stock up my classroom fridge with some healthy snacks and lunch items.

That sounds yummy. We are having pork chops. Probably just grilled, and a vegetable of some sort and whatever DH makes.

Been a little out of it here. I'm sick on my sofa, surrounded by bonbons, and trying to start a new diet...and it's my stupid birthday...so wallowing in self-pity is my birthday present to myself. Hope everyone else is well, and I promise that my bug won't carry any germs to you.

Muffycat, hope your birthday went better than mine is!

I am sorry to hear you are sick. But on the sofa surrounded by bonbons sounds like not a bad way to spend the day. Stop wallowing and enjoy the DISing! :dance3: Decide that today is not REALLY your birthday and postpone it until you feel better. I have done that many times in the past! :thumbsup2

To both of you!!!

I think I meet the dress code. I am still in my jammies. I just never got up the energy to get back up off the couch. It is cold here today so I came down and snuggled under a blankie and haven't left except for the necessary things like potty trips and lunch-- a lovely Kashi whole grain South Beach type meal.

Then how did you get your head, arms and legs into it? :confused3

Aren't you good, LTS! I love Kashi meals, btw...all those whole grains. I have a bucket of buckwheat waiting on the kitchen counter, as I try to figure out what to put with it to make it palatable. I might just throw on a teriyaki tuna filet and some edamame and be done with it. The Lazy Gourmet...

Hi, Toots...think you misunderstood me there...I'm MOM to a College Girl, not really one myself. That's okay, though...maybe someday, when I'm 100...

Don't diet on your birthday. Finish those bonbons and start tomorrow. :thumbsup2

Hmmmm...Weight Watchers sounds like a good program, but I am too cheap to go there and pay. Wish I coudl get a copy of their points system...I would totally do it! But for now, it's lo carb for me! How is it working for you?

My company has Weight Watchers at work and pays for membership as long as you attend x number of mtgs per session. I am probably to cheap do it other wise. I have lost 50 pounds but I think its much more the meetings than the points system itself.

Happy Birthday !! UrsulasShadow
Sorry I have no skills with the Sparkly pictures

Well my DD is on my mad list! She just made Garlic Mashed potatoes. They smell so gooooooooood! And so full of carbs.

Holy crap! I get out of my "dress code" clothes and go run errands for my dad and I come back to 4 pages!:)

You'll be happy to know that I am back in my sweats, complete with bleach stain near the crotch and oversized t shirt. And I'm eating mashed potatos and hamburger gravy, whilst hiding from my sick kids!

Afternoon! Home from work. It actually wasn't as bad going back as I thought it would be.
Obama is coming to the school on Friday.

Hey there!! What a great idea!

I didn't get the memo about a new thread!!!
But I am a Disney fanatic, love to Dis and make new friends, so here I am.

I am married with one ds11. I sing in my church choir, work as an optician part-time and like to write, prose, stories, etc. Also love to read... historical fiction, self help (I need it) and bios.

:flower3:

We are having grilled steaks, small salad with blue cheese dressing, and steamed cauliflower. I love the way we get to eat and call it a diet. I was at 147.6 this morning YIPPIE!

Clique-ity Clique!!

I survived my first day back at work! And it was not too shabby, I must say. But I am mighty thrilled that it is such a short work week.

Then how did you get your head, arms and legs into it? :confused3

WOW!! Congrats on the 50 pounds lost! Well done! :cheer2: How long did that take you, may I ask?

Let the beatings commence!

I am in my pj's and wearing a sweatshirt, with my fuzzy crocs :goodvibes

Fuzzy crocs? I didn't know crocs came in any other style except for hideous. :confused3 :rotfl: Just kidding! I am not a croc lover, but I do have the capri flip flops, which I like. I was not aware of any fuzzy kind though.

Hey, Phorse! That's neat! Let us know how that goes. Do you work at a school?

Hi Rella! :hippie:

We are having grilled steaks, small salad with blue cheese dressing, and steamed cauliflower. I love the way we get to eat and call it a diet. I was at 147.6 this morning YIPPIE!

That sounds fabulous! I am lo carbing it too, so my family is getting frozen lasagne and salad and garlic bread. I'm getting a bacon cheeseburger with no bun from Five Guys! :rotfl2:

I have lots of scrapbooking supplies and keep buying, but I haven't worked on any of it for so long! It is so overwhelming to me right now that for my last 2 Disney trips I bought the albums where you can write a little blurb instead of "real" scrapbooking. I managed to finish those quickly.

Becca! How are you, my friend? I sent you a text today, did you get it?

I do weight watchers and love it! I fell off the wagon over the holidays, well jumped off really. I'm starting back up as of today.

Bonnie, I work at the HS in the cafeteria as a cashier.

Good for you, Phorse!!

I didn't know you were a lunch lady! Did you see Survivor this season? Denise, the lunch lady was my FAVORITE! I was really rooting for her. I was sooo glad she got that $50,000 from Mark Burnette.

What's new with you, Merle-girl? How was your Christmas?

Hmmmm...Weight Watchers sounds like a good program, but I am too cheap to go there and pay. Wish I coudl get a copy of their points system...I would totally do it! But for now, it's lo carb for me! How is it working for you?

It was good, how about your's?

I am signed up with WW online, don't have to go to meetings and you get all the perks! :thumbsup2

I got my dd a cricut for Christmas. Trisha you really need to take up scrapping, there is a lot of great Disney stuff out there. Especially great for DIS meets!

Okay, what is this cricut thingy? I have seen it advertised but haven't thought about it when out at the craft stores.

Thanks everyone! :goodvibes

Dress code? I'm in trouble.

I think as long as all of the pertinent parts are covered by something, you are okay! And if not, we don't need to know! :thumbsup2

BTW, I'm not meeting dress code this morning...no holes in my clothing.

I started to say something about actually wearing clothes, then realized "Oh goodness, I hope she is wearing clothes at work" :rotfl:

Well my DD is on my mad list! She just made Garlic Mashed potatoes. They smell so gooooooooood! And so full of carbs.

Ahhhh, but potatoes are full of fiber, which is very good for you! :rolleyes1
