What's everyone having for dinner tonight? I need to ditch a few pounds and have really been watching what I've been eating, so I need something yummy but low in carbs and calories. I was thinking taco salad made with ground chicken sans the shell??I also need to run to the store to stock up my classroom fridge with some healthy snacks and lunch items.
Been a little out of it here. I'm sick on my sofa, surrounded by bonbons, and trying to start a new diet...and it's my stupid birthday...so wallowing in self-pity is my birthday present to myself. Hope everyone else is well, and I promise that my bug won't carry any germs to you.
Muffycat, hope your birthday went better than mine is!
But on the sofa surrounded by bonbons sounds like not a bad way to spend the day. Stop wallowing and enjoy the DISing!
Decide that today is not REALLY your birthday and postpone it until you feel better. I have done that many times in the past!
I see a ROACH EWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!
I HATE bugs!!!
BTW, I'm not meeting dress code this morning...no holes in my clothing.

That sounds yummy. We are having pork chops. Probably just grilled, and a vegetable of some sort and whatever DH makes.

To both of you!!!
I think I meet the dress code. I am still in my jammies. I just never got up the energy to get back up off the couch. It is cold here today so I came down and snuggled under a blankie and haven't left except for the necessary things like potty trips and lunch-- a lovely Kashi whole grain South Beach type meal.
Fly? I'm sure they're just on YOUR computer...I don't see no steenkin' fly....
Then how did you get your head, arms and legs into it?![]()

I'm guessing that it must be Muffycat's birthday, too, but yeah...it's my birthday.

Hi, Toots...think you misunderstood me there...I'm MOM to a College Girl, not really one myself. That's okay, though...maybe someday, when I'm 100...

Hmmmm...Weight Watchers sounds like a good program, but I am too cheap to go there and pay. Wish I coudl get a copy of their points system...I would totally do it! But for now, it's lo carb for me! How is it working for you?
What a great idea!
Then how did you get your head, arms and legs into it?![]()
My company has Weight Watchers at work and pays for membership as long as you attend x number of mtgs per session. I am probably to cheap do it other wise. I have lost 50 pounds but I think its much more the meetings than the points system itself.
How long did that take you, may I ask? Well my DD is on my mad list! She just made Garlic Mashed potatoes. They smell so gooooooooood! And so full of carbs.
I am in my pj's and wearing a sweatshirt, with my fuzzy crocs![]()
Just kidding! I am not a croc lover, but I do have the capri flip flops, which I like. I was not aware of any fuzzy kind though. Afternoon! Home from work. It actually wasn't as bad going back as I thought it would be.
Obama is coming to the school on Friday.
Hey there!!What a great idea!
I didn't get the memo about a new thread!!!
But I am a Disney fanatic, love to Dis and make new friends, so here I am.
I am married with one ds11. I sing in my church choir, work as an optician part-time and like to write, prose, stories, etc. Also love to read... historical fiction, self help (I need it) and bios.

We are having grilled steaks, small salad with blue cheese dressing, and steamed cauliflower. I love the way we get to eat and call it a diet. I was at 147.6 this morning YIPPIE!
I have lots of scrapbooking supplies and keep buying, but I haven't worked on any of it for so long! It is so overwhelming to me right now that for my last 2 Disney trips I bought the albums where you can write a little blurb instead of "real" scrapbooking. I managed to finish those quickly.
I do weight watchers and love it! I fell off the wagon over the holidays, well jumped off really. I'm starting back up as of today.
Bonnie, I work at the HS in the cafeteria as a cashier.
What's new with you, Merle-girl? How was your Christmas?

I got my dd a cricut for Christmas. Trisha you really need to take up scrapping, there is a lot of great Disney stuff out there. Especially great for DIS meets!
Thanks everyone!![]()
