Looking for somewhere to fit in? Come one, come all...sit down, relax and grab a cup of your favorite beverage!

Tell me a little about yourself and why you're here on the DIS! I'm looking forward to meeting new people and gaining some new DIS pals. :thumbsup2

Woo hooo! :cool1: I am excited to see a new clique thread right from it's beginning! I'll join ya!

I'm Bonnie, age 36, married, mommy to 3 DD's and I teach Pre-K. I have been DISing for nearly 6 years, but I started out with the screen name Bbgrizzle.

I'm looking forward to meeting new people too!

Hmmmm...a new clique? What are your requirements? If I have to dress cool and talk about people I'll give it a pass. If I can wear sweats with holes, drink like a fish and cuss like a soldier (within Dis standards of course) WTH!

Be careful, I have heard the moderators on this board are pretty tough.. .;)

Hi Bon! :wave2:

No requirements! Of course it depends on where the holes are in your sweats. Maybe then we'll have to enforce a dress code. ;)

Hi Scrap! How are you, lady? :flower3: Congrats on becoming a mod, you are perfect for the job!

Hi Lara! :wave2: I'm wearing holey pajama pants, so I guess holey sweats are fine!

I've always wanted to be on page one of a clique thread. :yay:

Ok, I'm done now.

Hi Threep. :yay: Happy New Year!

Hi Debbie! :yay: Happy New Year to you too!

You have Valentine stuff in your siggy and it isn't even the New Year yet! :headache: But it is cute :cutie:

Oh, wait, disney4drew has Valentine stuff too! You people probably have your Christmas Trees down in your houses already too, don't you????

Well...I'm sitting here with a hole in my sweats...and to keep it DIS appropriate, I'm gonna go get the needle and thread :rolleyes1

:rotfl: Well, it's just like with my Christmas decorations...I'm lazy and don't like to change them, so I put them up early! That way it can be a long time before I have to mess with them again.

Scrap, how come you are in an ECV in your pic? Did you get hurt?

Is anybody else starting a new weight loss plan? I have been lo carbing it for FOUR days! And I'm still on the wagon! :cool1:

Oh, it has been a very long year Bonnie. I have plantar fasciitis extremely bad in both feet. I had surgery on the right foot in April and it got worse and left me pretty much unable to walk. So I actually just had surgery on it again right before Thanksgiving. I have spent much of the year unable to walk and sitting on the couch or at my computer--LOTS of DIS time!

So that is why the ECV. When we were in Disney in Nov I was unable to walk more than a few steps at a time. I am currently recovering from my last surgery and we are hopeful that I will be better soon. But I may always need an ECV for extended periods of walking like at Disney.

And actually that is not an ECV--it was called the "Scrappymobile"!

Debbie, your countdown ticker is so cute! We are going to AKV too, the first week of Feb! For the first time. I'm excited!!

I only registered today... can I join :)

I am a SAHM to 3 boys. Interesting fact about me - all my boys are born in June within a week of each other, but wait... gets better :) My eldest was born 6/23/99, my 2nd 6/29/05 and my 3rd 6/30/06. That makes my youngest two exactly a year and a day apart.

BUT WAIT... there's more... bet you can't stand the suspense... :teeth:

My eldest will always be 7 years and 7 days older then my 3rd, 6 years 6 days older then my 2nd, and my 2nd and 3rd will be separated by 1 year and 1 day. :teeth:

My husband is currently in Iraq working for the grand ol' US of A and will be home Oct or Nov of '08. So we are planning are first family and disney vaca together for Dec '08

anywhoo... can't wait to get to know you all :)

Scrap, I have planters too! Heel spurs in both feet, the one on the left is pretty large. I have the night splints, the orthotics and get the shots. I went to WDW earlier this month and had the cortizone shots, but it was still sooo painful to walk around. DH had to push me around in a wheelchair the last couple days.

How is the surgery? Terrible? And it didn't even work? :sad2: That's awful! Are yours from heel spurs, and if so, did they remove the spur? I hope you are on the mend really soon!
