Is it too late for me to join in?

My names Kate. I think im the youngin of the group. Im 20 years old, im a college junior. My boyfriend (Louis) and I are planning a trip for October. I can't WAIT!! I havent been to disney since I was 8 years old, and I don't remember much of that trip.

Lets see what else. I go to Sacred Heart University in CT. I am a sociology major (and hate it). I am also in the elementary education program, and will have my masters in teaching as of May 2010. I will be specializing in reading for my masters. I love children, and can absolutely not wait to start teaching. The state of CT does not allow you to major in education, which is why I had to choose sociology. 3 more classes and i will have finished that program so .

Also, i'm from Long Island, and love it. I can't wait till summer comes and I can be out on the beach again!

I'm Sharon, married and have 3 children--2 DS's 26 and 23 and one DD 9. We live in south mississippi. we've been to wdw as a family 2 times and have a trip planned for nov 08. I work at a community college and LOVE it. its 10 minutes from home and 5 minutes from dd's school, so a perfect location. my dh drives a truck, in fact he left this morning. he's usually gone during the week and home on the weekends. about two months ago he decided he wanted to purchase his own truck and is leasing to own from his company. thats about it, nothing really exciting. I came to dis because i love anything disney and love reading about wdw and planning trips. oh, i read that some of you mentioned diets! that is a definite for me this year. i too lost quiet a bit of weight a few years ago and am slowly starting to gain it back.

That's really interesting how you have to go for another major and then education! I've never heard of anything like that. Good luck finishing your degrees.

Yay, another education major! Well, sort of, right?* That's interesting that you cant' major in education. My degree is in Elementary Ed. But congrats on being so close to the end!

Sharon!!! So many of us are also trying to get rid of some pesky pounds in the new year. It will be nice to have support.

Well I have my photos organized and my supplies organized. I even have my own room. Doesn't help. I still just collect stuff!



Okay, so most of us are trying to lose weight and scrapbook more. And instead we are joining a new clique that will slowly eat away our time and become an obsession and undermine both resolutions.... .

I am the same way. I went thru some of my stuff this morning and found all the disney stuff i bought to make a scrapbook for our 2003 trip. I think I might have done 3 pages some time in 2004. My goal is to at least get that one done this year. Then I just have 2005 , 2006 , and two 2007 trips. So you know not much . I have had a wedding album that is all scrapped up and you just have to pick pictures and stick them in that I havent gotten around to yet.

lol I am so glad to hear I am not the only one that buys scrapbooking supplies with no intention of using them. I am a prefectionist so the only time I make pages is when I feel the pictures, paper, etc are prefect and fit my vision of what I want. I think in all of 2007 I made 3 pages. I have enough supplies to make several books and I still pick up things. It is shameful! I started doing it so when my hubby paints I could be crafty with him. Just didn't work out like I thought.
