I have been "nominated" to make shirts for 17 children of my son's 1st grade class. The theme for the year is Disney!!!

DH says this is weird age and if I do them different that the kids may get upset?

They want the name of child and then their favorite character. I have the list, the shirts, PS4 and I plan to order paper from Amy and get new ink for the printer.

What is a basic and easy design that incorporates the name and a character? The list for character is:
Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Peter pan, Goofy, Tink and Donald.

I don't want to do the black head because it doesn't print out well. The longest name is 7 letters.

I am having serious brain block and can't even get started.

Please any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think you have your idea and more, these are great. :cool1::thumbsup2 I think first graders would love them. :banana:Penny:hippie:

Thanks Penny.

Now a disigner made a tink shirt and I am rethinking the simple easy idea for pretty and fancy. All the shirts have to be very similar, 1st grade so I will see if the disigner wants to team up with me and teach me.

But if not I have simple and easy.

I think (or maybe it was another thread?) you said you were going to use Amy's transfers. If you are putting them on a colored shirt you will need a frame around them I think? There are so many great DISigns in these threads, you can check everyone's "buckets" and see if they have some of the names done already? Just a thought. Penny:goodvibes

Penny, could I cut the designs out and then transfer them onto the shirts? I really didn't want a frame but if we must I will.

Thanks again for all the support and help, everyone here has been so kind and helpful. I am learning.

you can certainly cut them out. with the new DISigns you are using, they will be easier to cut out. I think the names would have been very labor intensive. Natalie did a great figment DISign for me which would have been very labor intensive to cut out & I only use Amy's transfers and don't really like white shirts anyway so I put a frame on it. It looks great. However, Other disigns, I just cut out the disign and left it at that. have fun. (I want to see the finished products).:goodvibes:thumbsup2 Penny
