Does anyone else here actually like to listen to classic/orchestral music besides me? I'm currently listening to Simple Gifts: Four Shaker Songs, ***. 2: "Dance" by the GREAT Frank Ticheli. I love this website! http://www.manhattanbeachmusic.com/html/mp3.html So, anyone want to admit it. Besides a true band geek.

When you are in middle school here in Cleveland..There is something called Honors Band..and i was in it my 8th grade year..and we played a song called Orpheus Overture..The director said it is from a Broadway play..but i like listening to it

Yup. I like Classical orchestra/choral music. Just this weekend I sang Beethoven's 9th at Lincoln Center here in NYC. It's beautiful, he's a genius.

I listen to a lot of contemporary classical stuff. Well, if piano counts as classical. Technically, it's called "New Age" I think. I listen to Bragh Adair, David Nevue, Stanton Lanier, and John Boswell.

OOH Pachebel's Canon in D is so beautiful. I've played it at two weddings (I play the flute), and it's so pretty.

I think being in band did get me listening to classical music, lol!
