Does anyone know if you can get the recipes for any of the restaurants at Disney? We just came back yesterday and had eaten at Trails End and had some awesome Clam Chowder. Thanks

You can also ask your server for recipes. I've done this several times (not for awhile), but they are always glad to give you recipes. A couple of the ones I received were geared to serve 40+ people, but a little math takes care of that in no time.

My favorite chowder so far has been the Corn Chowder over at Pepper Market. Whew that stuff is good!!!

Ever try the apple pie at Whispering Canyon? It is to die for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:worship:

The server gave me the recipe last Oct. and it went over very well this past Christmas...though the atmosphere was NOT the same!:sad2:

I can send you a copy if you can't find it! It is very easy to make and sooooo bad for you, in a good way!:thumbsup2

You can also purchase the "Cooking With Mickey" cookbooks at DTD. They are about 300 pages and cost $19.95.

I make a great corn chowder if I do say so myself!! It is my Mom's recipe. When we have GG in the winter months I will make it.
No fear I will make Jello too!!!

I'd love your recipe!! (For Corn Chowder--not jello, LOL) Are you willing to share? :goodvibes

Oh -- and I'm moving this to the Community Board, since it's not "really" about Fort Wilderness at this point. LOL

Cool That's my wife's all time favorite. I'd love if you could send me the recipe. Thanks in advance.

I have that "Cooking with Mickey" book! I LOVE it! We have a tradition where my 3 DDs take turns cooking on a Saturday night. They get to be the Gourmet Chef, pick the recipe, help me shop for the ingrediants and then prepare it for the family that night. They always pick recipes from that cook book and they are all wonderful! Plus it keeps us in the Disney spirit when we can't be there!

The Harbor House at MK has the best clam chowder. :thumbsup2 Don't forget to add the Mickey crackers.

This is the last thing we fixed from that cookbook.....

Asperagus speared Ahi tuna with risotto and lemon mousseline

it would look better if my dishes weren't chipped :rolleyes1

1. 8 oz cream cheese with chives and onion
1. can 15 oz cream corn
2. cups whole milk
1. cup frozen green peas

That is the recipe, I like to use 2. cans cream corn and I also add thyme. You can leave out the peas if you don't like them. If you use 2 percent milk it is very thin.
