Just wondering if anyone has ever purchased Category 3 Cirque seats. They are available for a few of the days we will be at Disney and are $59 instead of $74. The seats didn't seem that much different than the ones for Category 2.

Also, has anyone ever purchased their seats from brokers on line such as Ticketmania.....? their prices are somewhat less but not sure if it's worth the hassle.

Thanks for any info.

I've never been to Cirque but I'll bump it up for you to get some answers. :)

The Category 3 seats used to be Cat2. There are very, very few Cat3 seats, and they are on the last two rows of the last two full sections in the second tier, and the only seats in the extreme end sections that aren't obstructed view.

Also, those ticket prices are plus tax ($59 tix end up around $65).

The difference between Cat1 and Cat2 is not based on the quality of the view, but the demand for the seats themselves. There are many Cat2 seats that offer a better big-picture view (there's alot going on at once, and you'll probably have an easier time taking it in the first time from the second tier).

If you call the cirque ticket line, you will be given the best available seats in the category of your choice. If you want to choose your seats from what's available, go to the cirque website or go to the box office in person. There is a ticketmaster service charge for tickets purchased through the website.

My choice: anything in the second tier at least one section from the end. Dead center is not necessary at all, but the extreme ends can be a little iffy.

Steve, I wish I would have seen this before I bought my tickets. We just got tickets for the first time and we got the middle section in the first tier. They are the last row of the first tier though, do you think that will be okay? I think it is section 103 Row H

We just got home, and saw Cirque on Tuesday night (Jan 20th). We had Category 3 seats.....section AA, row 207 seats 1 and 2.

I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. We could see everything, and when the performers where in the audience they were right in front of us!

We bought our tickets directly from the Cirque du Soleil website, and picked them up at the will call window to avoid shipping charges.

Enjoy the show.

103 H should be just fine. 103 A (really any section row A) is like Walleye vision.

And RachelQ is right, there really isn't a bad seat in the house.
