Can anyone guide me on this show? My son is 7. Is he old enough to enjoy this? At $90 bucks a ticket, I want to be sure prior to buying. Any idea if we get any type of member discount?

It looks fantastic for Hubby and Myself....any thoughts on the young ones would be appreciated.

Kim

Yes, he will love it too. Look for some good category 2 tickets. I believe the second level is a better view anyway. Check the Theme Parks board for other great reviews. There is currently no member discount.

There have always been a number of children in the audience the times we've seen Cirque. I think your son would most definitely enjoy it! It is very fast-paced -- there are always several things happening simultaneously, whether it's on the stage, in the air, or in the audience. The newest act consists of 2 guys who perform these incredible stunts using (pedal) bikes which sounds like it would appeal to a 7-year old.

Do they charge the same for children as adults?? I thought there was a discount available -- perhaps it's for annual pass holders??

Enjoy!!

I too am curious. We are going w/ our 3 boys in Dec. and hope to enjoy it. Those tickets were expensive!! Our boys are 4,5, and 8. I did not receive any discounts.:(

I have only heard rave reviews though.

We took our children when they were 7 and they loved it. Don't miss it, it's definitely worth the price.

We saw Cirque earlier this month. Our kids are 6, 9, 11, and 13. It was fantastic and well worth the money. We have been waiting for our kids to get old enough, but we saw lots of kids of all ages in the audience. The stunts are unbelieveable! We did meet another DVC family who said their daughter, about 8 years old, FELL ASLEEP during Cirque! They called it the world's most expensive nap! See the early show and make sure it is not too busy of a day for your son.

why did i have to read this post ?!i thought it was too expensive and so i rationalized that it was probably not very good and i'd be doing us a favour by not purchasing-oh,yeah our kids are 6,9,12 ;and too young right?well now that i've read these replies it looks like i better find some money.i thought i saw ,somewhere, a discounted ticket.no?
shucks!!!!look at my counter!!!om my god!it's almost time!!:hyper: :bounce: :hyper:  :rotfl: :jumping2:

We went this past May (DW,DD3 and me) and thought it was great. DD3 watched about half then fell asleep. We had catagory 2 tickets and the seats were great. We used our silver plan wishes for it, first trip to WDW, before DVC. The cost on the printed reciept was a little over $200. We did it the night we arrived and then ate dinner afterwards at Fultons.

Great show well worth doing.

Jim.

There is/was a 25% discount for AP holder, 2 per passholder this past summer. I don't know if that is still available or not. We have seen the show 2 times, it's great. As mentioned there are many things going on at one time, so the 2nd time we saw things we mised and I'm sure if/when we go again we will see still more.

Here is a link to Cirque's WEB site.

I just saw this show on Wednesday night. It was good and there was one little boy who was laughing hysterically at the clowns! I had a 3rd catagory seat ($68) and it was on the 2nd level on the right side, row BB. I was offered 5th row from the stage ($77) but declined it. I didn't want to have to constantly have to look up. I was happy I did that, as much of the show is above your head! A middle section on the 2nd level would be my first choice, but they are the $90 seats. I was happy with my $68.
It is a good show but can be expensive for a family. I was "treated" to the show by a relative that I provided a free studio to for 4 nights or I probably would not have gone to see it.
It was a nice treat!:)

It is worth every single penny! You will never see another show like it. & is definately not too young.

After reading this thread, I decided to go to La Nouba again. I called, but there is no current discount being offered, according to the CM who answered my call, so I just booked online.

The 6 of us are going again this November. I spent as much on tickets to a professional baseball game this summer for the family. At least when La Nouba's over, I'm sure I will be happy. At the game, it depended on who won.

It is the most amazing show you can ever imagine. This will be our third time going. We did start going to the early show because our youngest did fall asleep the first time we went to the later show.

Fantastic show- took my wife and 6 year old DD. She absolutely loved it . I bought 3 category 2 seats- they are expensive but well worth it. Do not hesitate ! GO. GO. GO!!!

We enjoyed the show.Well worth the money. Everyone should see it at least once. I think kids should be at least over 6 years of age though.

Daddiojiggy & JekJones: Aren't we just such a terrible influence here on the boards?!?! We've seen it 4 times now -- LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!! We will NEVER fail to be amazed by the wonderfully talented cast!

you've got to tell me which tickets to buy!i'm thinking cat 2 is enough.are there any better sections than others?any days to go better than others?how about show times.any one time better than the other( 6:00pm or 9:00pm)?how long does the show last?i should probably keep my youngest's age in mind -i'm not sure if he'd make it through a late showing.but if it's as good as you guys say it is, he shouldn't get tired anyways right?gimme, gimme answers, please!
damn forum just cost me another few hundred dollars!oh,well look at my counter, again.yippee!!:thewave:

Daddy...

It's so much fun spending other people's $$$!! Go to http://www.omniticket.net/cds/ and click on the seating chart to enlarge it. Most recently we sat in section 203, Row BB, seats 16-19. I don't think I'd want to sit too close to the stage -- it's easier to see everything from a bit farther back. Your best bet is to try different combinations of dates/times to see what tickets best meet your requirements. You won't regret going!!

Daddy,
Just booked Dec. 2, 6:00 show, sec. 203, row ff, seats 19 and 20. Maybe we'll see you there!
Jean

Thanks for the help...Just booked, March 16....4 adults and 1 child, $366.19 (ouch).

Oh well, we only live once.

Thanks again,

Kim
